So, I downloaded this game online, and now every single time I want to jump in and play, I have to open up PowerISO and manually mount the image—which, honestly, I don't even fully grasp what that process actually entails. Is there a way to bypass this step or change the settings so it isn't such a chore, or am I stuck doing this every single time?

You could probably just throw in a no-CD/DVD crack.
I mean, obviously, that's totally against the rules.

Shoot me a DM letting me know which game you're talking about—maybe I can help you out.

The game uses a specific type of DRM that requires you to have the physical disc inserted into your computer to verify you actually own the original copy. If the disc isn't there, the software simply won't launch. You can use tools like PowerISO to emulate a virtual CD/DVD drive, which tricks the system into thinking the original disc is present. If you don't own the legitimate version, your only real options are finding a "no-CD" patch or a crack. Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure posting links to that kind of content is against the forum rules here, so you'll have to do a little legwork on your own. Just hit up Google and see what you can find.

Go with Alcohol 50% or just use deamon tools

Jesse Ortiz4- knows his way around mounting drives, but he's asking if there's a way to skip the whole hassle every single time he wants to play.
Yeah, you can just use a no-CD/DVD crack to bypass that headache.

Go ahead and mess around with whatever if you want... just grab the original file and call it a day. No big deal.
