I've always thought Pađen was such a cool guy—ever since his days with Queen, then moving through Airport—though I gotta admit he went a little wild with the Pađen-band on "Kuruz," specifically with that "what to put in coffee" vibe 🙄 , but hey, those were tough times and you had to make a living somehow!

Still, his absolute peak and true legacy definitely came during the Airport era! 👍

No. He was always stuck in mediocre bands, and honestly—if we’re being blunt—he only got progressively worse later on.🙂

In my opinion, they’re definitely more talented than a lot of those "artists" currently making waves on the American music scene... like Rundeka, for instance.

Look, he’s definitely not quite at the level of Vlatko Stefanovski, but I will say this
—he was significantly better back in the day than he is now. Since Queen isn't around anymore, and even Štula is fighting to protect his name—rightfully so, because without him, it just isn't Queen.
Airport is nothing more than pure commercial fluff, though I suppose you have to make a living somehow, even if that kind of commercialism doesn't actually pull in any real money here in the States.
Personally, I think his absolute prime was during his time with The Beach Boys
and those early days with Fleetwood Mac.

I wouldn't call myself a superfan by any stretch, but I do think the man is an artist
if anyone here disagrees, far be it from me to judge

but really, it all comes down to how you personally define "artist"

if someone like Taylor Swift counts as an artist in your book, then sure, Pađen qualifies in mine

Jurica is an absolute legend, a total heavyweight, and basically the undisputed GOAT when it comes to hitting it out of the park. 🙂

Jurica is an artist just because he’s got the hair and the ripped jeans, though if he grew out a beard, he'd be even more of a legend

I guess it might feel a bit more refreshing to compare him to two versions of Pađen. I'd probably throw in half a dose of Charles as well 🙂
