I've been sticking with Opera since version 8.0, and honestly, I've just grown so accustomed to how it works. I did give Internet Explorer, Firefox, and even Safari a fair shake, but none of them ever really felt like home to me.

Honestly, if a page just won't render properly in Opera, I don't think it even deserves to be opened in the first place 😉

Opera... honestly, if you ask me, it's hands down the best, most stable, and fastest browser out there. And that whole thing about torrents? Please, turning that on is incredibly easy. I've been using it for years now, and I wouldn't dream of switching to anything else. As for Mozilla, in my book, it's total garbage—mostly because of the interface itself. THAT’S JUST MY OPINION, and I don't see why anyone should have an issue with that. Plus, I've never run into any of the issues some other person mentioned about being unable to open a file after downloading it. That's the first time I've ever heard that nonsense.

So, torrents...

I’m just not feeling Opera, mostly because I’ve always been a Firefox guy. I’m still running Firefox 2 and honestly, I’ve never dealt with a single crash... If you’re an FF user, I’d suggest sticking with version 2 instead of jumping to 3; it’s faster, way more reliable, and the extension selection is much better.

With Internet Explorer 8, I find myself jumping between Firefox and Opera just as much. Honestly, though, I prefer Opera. It has all these little details that you don't even notice at first glance.

On my phone, I usually stick to Opera Mobile or maybe Pocket IE.

When I'm on my Mac, Linux, or BSD, it’s mostly Firefox for me, followed by Opera—Opera just doesn't feel quite right on those systems. I can't stand Safari or Epiphany, and Konqueror is hit or miss.

Oh, and one more thing. Links is a must-have. 😁

Sure, they say Opera is the fastest... please, let's be realistic about those claims. If you visit Apple's site, they'll tell you Safari is the speed king; if you head over to Mozilla, they'll swear by Mozilla being the quickest. Everyone has their own marketing spin.

I stick with Mozilla because it has that one reliable add-on—the one where you just hover your mouse over a word and it translates it into English.

I think Opera is a great browser, but I'm sticking with Firefox strictly because of the extensions.
Firebug, AdBlock, and Foxmarks bookmarks sync are things no amount of lightning-fast browsing speed can make up for.

I’ve really taken a liking to Firefox lately! I especially love how it handles tabs—it's just so much smoother. One thing that drives me absolutely crazy about Internet Explorer and Opera is how they automatically jump focus to the new page when you >. It’s such a nuisance! With Firefox, it stays right where you are, which is a total lifesaver.
Every once in a while, I'll still fire up Internet Explorer just to double-check that a website looks the same there as it does in Firefox, but as for Opera? I don't even have it installed on my computer anymore!
