What browser are you guys using?

Personally, I find that Mozilla Firefox is by far my favorite browser.

I switched over to Firefox about four years ago because I wanted a better cool web search experience, having used Internet Explorer up until then. I’ve thought about moving to Opera quite a few times to get better performance, but honestly, Firefox has spoiled me with its selection of add-ons. At this point, I’d rather deal with a slightly slower engine than lose them. 😍

I'm not sure about page load speeds, but try zooming in on a page in Opera versus any other browser and see how much of a difference there is. I zoom in quite often, so that smooth experience actually matters to me.

Plus, I really don't have the patience to install ten or fifteen different plugins just to get a browser to act halfway like Opera (and most of those need tweaking anyway). Sure, tools like Firebug in Firefox are absolute lifesavers, but when I'm just looking for a solid, reliable browser, I don't have the energy for all the Firefox hassle.

I switched over to Opera ages ago after moving away from IE and I really loved it... but honestly, due to all the commercialization lately, I've been sticking with Mozilla for the last year or two. It just bugs me when I sit down at someone else's computer and nobody has Opera installed, everyone just uses Mozilla...
Plus, I spent so much time setting up all my bookmarks in Mozilla that I just can't bring myself to switch everything over again now that I'm used to it.

So, if you're using Opera, you actually get both the "open link in New Tab" option and that super handy "opera - open in background Tab" feature...

I honestly had no idea, but I was totally pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon the fact that Opera actually has these built-in mouse shortcuts! 👍

I have grown quite accustomed to using Opera. That said, I still keep Firefox installed for those few specific sites that don't seem to behave perfectly within the Opera environment.

It’s honestly getting under my skin how Opera behaves sometimes. I’ll start a download right from within its own window, only for it to pop up a notification telling me I need to close the browser entirely before it can actually proceed. 🤮
It's a total mess.

It’s straightforward enough, really; I have my Google favorites all set up, so what else could a person possibly need from a browser!?
I see you all getting so worked up over Opera, Firefox, and those other fancy browsers... but honestly, none of you are going to find anything on Google faster or better than I can!☕

This is the first time I've even heard about that! Total shocker!

Here is a quick and simplified test comparing four browsers: Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Apple Safari (video included).

I personally stick with Firefox 3.x

It isn’t really about how fast you can pull up a search on Google—it’s more that those browsers are just fundamentally more advanced. They come packed with extra features and options that, honestly, end up being incredibly useful when you actually need them.

Trident is easily the slowest browser engine on the market.

I've settled on using Mozilla Firefox, though I also find myself reaching for Google Chrome quite often—it’s actually pretty fantastic, even if it does have a few annoying little quirks here and there.
