...if you ask me, Americans have built a massive cinematic powerhouse, and I’ve sat through plenty of their heavy hitters over the years.
What are your go-to's?

Atonement
Remains of the Day
Howard's End
Pride and Prejudice
The Queen (not bad)
The US Marine Corps animation
Shaun of the Dead (such a great comedy)
Death at a Funeral (also good)
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (something like that, what a wild movie)
Trainspotting (I must have watched it five or six times)

Exactly. It works well as a comedy too. Plenty of funny moments, even if they are bloody. Dark humor, done right.

I actually think it’s a pretty great movie—it's all about love, really.

This one is basically just a parody of those classic zombie flicks.

You have to see Hot Fuzz. It’s basically the spiritual successor to Shaun of the Dead 👍

That’s exactly why I called it a "so-called" sequel. 😁 The movie is brilliant—a perfect parody of American action flicks that still feels totally unique. It's packed with great jokes and that classic, ridiculous sense of humor..😁
