🤷

So, my thread "Mexico vs NATO + the Western media machine" just vanished from the politics section.

Look, it was a serious discussion backed by actual links. I wasn’t just making stuff up out of thin air; I was literally quoting the advisors to the UK Prime Minister Blair back then.

What's the big deal? 🤷

Man, this is a heavy topic, yet I’m seeing a ton of unserious comments. I was originally going to move this over to the Random Chat section, but since there’s a political undertone here—even if it's just a small vestige of it—I felt I had to stick it in the Politics section instead. Look, not every topic that touches on politics actually belongs in the politics forum. Sure, it might be interesting to mention the political angle somewhere, but creating an entire thread just for that? I don't see the point.

So how exactly is this not important? How is this not politics when I'm literally quoting the words of Blair's advisor? 🤷

I’m not talking about some trip to Disneyland here. I am talking about the actual words from an advisor to the UK Prime Minister—someone who was basically the second or third most powerful person on the planet back then, and probably still is today!

There's a limit to how much nonsense can be posted before people start getting deleted. If you want to police the quality of the posts, go ahead and delete the fluff, but don't come after me just because I started the thread. 🤷

I honestly can’t wrap my head around how this topic even belongs on a forum like this, let alone what it has to do with anything we actually talk about here.

What does your question have to do with my thread? 🤷

Out of a million random topics—and don't even get me started on some of them, especially over in the politics section—you actually have the nerve to show up and ask what my perfectly serious thread has to do with anything...😕

Fine, if you were going for some big dramatic performance, congrats, you nailed it. 🤷

But seriously, why does my thread, complete with a link and actual quotes from Tony Blair, supposedly have nothing to do with anything, while these other threads apparently do:

1) Mirsad Bakšić, watch out for the Mexicans!
🤷

2) North American vampires would rewrite Wikipedia
🤷

I mean, those are just a few of the "intellectual" gems floating around the politics section, not to mention that thread about the American Orthodox Church that gets reposted a hundred times...🙏

These are topics specifically about America, so I'm not sure why you're acting surprised.
The way Mexico decides to handle its relationship with some third party isn't really something that belongs in this discussion.

And what about the whole Mexico thing? 🍿

I mean, we're out here draining their resources, so suddenly everything they do matters to us, right?

Which ones?
When you're looking at things from the American perspective, the whole landscape looks different
The viewpoint and political agenda coming out of Mexico is really something that concerns people living in Mexico, I suppose.

As an American, I find the whole relationship between Mexico and NATO pretty fascinating.

Man, I can still feel that pit in my stomach from when I first realized how messed up it was—realizing how nice my life was while bombers were busy dropping some really nasty stuff on a neighboring country. A country that, by the way, was built using money from both my parents and yours.

I’d also be super interested to hear a Mexican take on Western media propaganda, especially since their own media machine has written one of the wildest chapters in media history. Like, that whole nonsense about burning tires in Dubrovnik by those vampire-like extremists. Or the idea of the Maslenica Bridge just spontaneously combusting; I mean, seriously, who builds a bridge like that out in the direct sun? 🤷

It seems to me that you guys are all way too quick to pull the trigger. I’ve noticed that whenever regular, normal people get appointed as moderators, they jump at any chance to shut down threads. These aren't even threads breaking the rules or hurting anyone's feelings, but they seem to get a little kick out of being the ones to kill the conversation. I can practically feel their ego trip through the monitor.

And look, this isn't aimed at any specific moderator or any specific thread. Honestly, I haven't even seen the topic in question; I'm just going off a vibe. You know me, I'm a sensitive guy. 🥳

But deleting threads and banning users—people like Ethan Morales22, Daniel Ward87, Mickey, or whoever else—can only be done by someone with zero sense of market competition. They really ought to think twice about who they're driving away from here.

Krule started that blog "defense and protection from stupidity," and we could have had that kind of energy right here, live. But we don't. Why? Because of some bureaucratic bullshit, that's why.

And there goes Schmokljan. 😢 Seriously, if you all grow old and wise, who am I supposed to hang out with to stay young? 🤷

Look, Schmokljan definitely earned a few days—maybe even a week?—of a "cooling off" period after being so rude to the admin, but the admin also needs to actually do his job professionally. That means explaining the reasoning behind bans and warnings, both to him and to the rest of us.

This forum is just a perfect mirror of how things work in America, where people in power don't feel the slightest bit of obligation to explain their moves to "those below them."

The whitewashing starts right here, Sash.
