☕It really would be something if some network over here finally decided to air William Friedkin’s absolute masterpiece, "Sorcerer," from back in 1977. I remember seeing it years ago under a different title, but internationally it’s known as "Wages of Fear"—which, if you recall, was actually a remake of that classic French film. It’s this high-octane, incredibly tense action thriller that just keeps you on the edge of your seat.
The late, great Roy Scheider led the cast, and honestly, putting this on TV would be such a fitting homage to a legendary actor. Plus, you can't talk about this movie without mentioning the incredible score by Tangerine Dream; they even put out a soundtrack for it.
Since there hasn't ever been an official home media release for this in the States—so, don't worry, it's perfectly legal to own a copy—if anyone happens to have this sitting on a DVD or an old VHS, or maybe even the soundtrack, please shoot me a PM.
Cheers, Jamie Kim6 🙂
