I noticed there wasn't a thread dedicated to this band, so I figured I’d kick things off myself. Honestly, they’re getting a massive amount of hype right now—critics everywhere are hailing their album as the best debut of the year—but I’m struggling to see what the big deal is. To me, it just sounds like a watered-down version of N.W.A... specifically, an N.W.A. knockoff trying way too hard to be edgy and subversive with these deep, political lyrics that never actually move past basic neighborhood drama or teenage angst—it's basically just shouting at things to prove how "pumped up" and rebellious they are.

I mean, hello? Is anyone actually buying this act?

I suppose that band is quite exceptional because their guitarist can play five times without even taking a break!!!!! 😲

A buddy of mine over at the testing facility just quit his job. Apparently, he hit his breaking point with all that pretentious reggae-dub-DnB-vocal stuff they play there.🙂.

That’s the literal definition of poser music—it feels like they're only playing this stuff because some girls fall for guys with dreadlocks and an edgy vocabulary. 😵

But honestly, I heard the guitarist can go six rounds instead of five without even breaking a sweat, and apparently, sex with him lasts longer than a concert by Kanye West. That said, they really are just a bunch of posers. The singer is an arrogant jerk from Los Angeles, and the only reason they ever made it big was because they're tight with Jack White and he basically handed them everything on a silver platter. At the end of the day, they're just a mediocre imitation of the Democratic Party, Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and all those other abbreviated bands.

The only way it would have worked was if Venom had let Brenna go after Giga 🤷
