Hypertonic muscle forms: What are your thoughts?

So, I've got a question. What does it actually mean when a diagnosis mentions hypertonic forms of the heart?
Like, what is a hypertonic heart?

An enlarged heart (maybe just slightly swollen?) triggered by long-term high blood pressure.

When you're dealing with long-term, uncontrolled high blood pressure, the left atrium starts swelling up. Eventually, the heart takes on this really specific shape...
