Anyone know how to stop these sneakers from absolutely wrecking my heels? I’ve only had them for a month and they're already giving me blisters. Usually, my shoes just need a little break-in period, but these are driving me insane... I’ve lost track of how many Band-Aids I've gone through at this point. 😕

Wait, are you positive that size isn't actually too small for you?
Have you thought about maybe carrying around something a bit larger—like, maybe double what you have now?

maybe try sizing up by half a number next time...

nah, they're actually too big. the fit is fine, nothing's pinching or digging in, but the arch support is just weird. they feel great when I'm driving, but if I walk for more than an hour, man... absolute nightmare. once I throw some insoles in, though, they're perfect.

I don't know... I always get blisters from my dress shoes, but sneakers? Never happened to me.
Maybe your socks are just too thin😬
Try finding the exact spot on the sneaker that’s rubbing you the wrong way and check if there's a little bump or something inside making it uncomfortable

honestly, the socks aren't even thin, they're just regular crew socks, nothing weird about the fit.

If you’re feeling those pressure points right under your heel when you walk, maybe try tossing some softer insoles in there to cushion the blow
If it’s more toward the back, honestly, just grab one of those orthopedic inserts—I think you can find them over at a CVS or Walgreens somewhere

if it's further back, go grab one of those heel cups at CVS

"back" means back!

I'll check it out, thanks 🙏 coppergardener 🙏 🙏

I am quite loyal to my Nike sneakers—truly, I am—but there is this persistent, nagging issue where I seem to get blisters every single time I wear them. And it isn't just when they are fresh out of the box, either; even if I let them sit in the closet for months before pulling them back out, the blisters still find me! It is rather vexing, isn't it? But, goodness, I simply adore these shoes, and I refuse to entertain any theory about switching brands—once I move past the initial discomfort, they are incredibly comfy. Normally, I prefer going sockless, but while I am dealing with this blister situation, I have found that wearing slightly thicker socks helps immensely. Of course, I also make sure to apply a bandage. I haven't experimented much beyond that, but if I could offer one piece of advice: please, avoid those paper-thin socks at all costs! Also... is it possible the heel of the shoe is just a bit too deep? In my case, the irritation doesn't actually hit the heel itself, but rather just a tiny bit above... you know, right where a blister usually forms.

But whatever, I love these kicks too much to ever switch brands. Once the blisters heal, they're perfect. Usually, I go sockless, but while I'm dealing with the blister situation, I'll wear slightly thicker socks to help out. And obviously, plenty of Band-Aids. I haven't tried anything else, but seriously, stay away from those super thin ones. Also... maybe the heel isn't sitting right? (For me, it’s not the actual heel that hurts, but just above it... you know where...)

These ones are Caterpillar and I'm obsessed, so there's no way I'm letting them go. The heel depth is actually just right...

Caterpillar 🙏
A buddy and I actually call them our "workhorses" 😍 just as a little nickname... but seriously, they're awesome.😍
