Can't type in Word?

So, just like the title suggests, I’m running into a bit of a roadblock where I simply can't type anything into my document. I don't find myself using Word very often, but when I finally sat down to open it today, it was as if the keyboard had gone on strike—I just can't input any text at all.
I could really use some urgent help here

Does anyone happen to know the best way to run a repair on Word?

Just pop in the Microsoft Office 2002 disc and hit the repair button. I really hope they actually included a repair tool in that version.

The real headache here is that I don't actually have the original disc on hand. Honestly, if I could just wipe the slate clean and perform a fresh installation of 😁

Just install Microsoft Office 2002 or, better yet, grab Microsoft Office 2007 if you can actually get your hands on it, because let's be honest, the 2002 version is ancient history.

If they rarely even touch Office, there’s probably no point in getting 2007; I guess it just takes too long to load everything up anyway.

Is your keyboard actually working😉?

Just stick with Word if you don't need any fancy formatting.

There's also OpenOffice, which is free and honestly does the job just fine.

Hmm. We actually put out an article a while back called My Microsoft Word is acting up that should walk you through fixing those glitches. Doesn't really matter which version you're running, even if it's ancient...
Let me know if you're still stuck after trying that.
