How do I download videos from YouTube?

I'm having some trouble—for some reason, keepvid.com just won't load for me... I heard there might be a specific program out there that handles this? I'm in a bit of a rush here 🙏

Well, if you have Google Chrome installed, you could just grab the YouTube Downloader extension, and then you should be all set to handle it right here............

I suppose you just head over to YouTube, find whatever movie happens to catch your eye, and then you’ll need to open up the YouTube Downloader, which usually sits right there in your Google Chrome status bar. A little window should pop up, and you'll see a button labeled "download link." Once you click that, you can save the file directly to your hard drive. After the download finishes, you'll have to track down where you saved it and manually change the file extension at the end to ".flv." To actually watch the thing, though, you're going to need to install an "flv player," which you can probably find right here....................😬😬

Honestly, just grab 4K Video Downloader. You don't even have to deal with a full installation process; you just launch it, paste the link to your video, hit download, and you're all set.👍 👍

If you use Google Chrome along with a YouTube Downloader, though, I suppose you might find that when you're actually recording the file, you really ought to save it in the FLV format to make sure everything works out correctly!

Honestly, 4K Video Downloader is the best way to go. It handles the conversion to .avi automatically, so you don't have to waste your time messing around with extra software to convert files manually.

I’ve been sticking with 4K Video Downloader and honestly, it works like a charm for me. It’s way less of a headache than trying to mess around with those Firefox extensions.

I usually just stick with YouTube Downloader because it’s super easy, and then I might follow up with Total Video Converter if I need to

You just rename the file extension from filename to filename.flv

I tried using grabber or keepvid, but all I get is an FLV file, and let's be honest, nobody actually uses FLV as a video player anymore. I guess I'll just have to mess around with a converter to make it usable.

Just try swapping out the file extension—or adding one if it's missing—to .flv

Then you can either grab a free FLV player or just run it through a converter
