Has anyone actually had some hands-on experience with the new Phase 2 product yet?
Thanks...👍

I’m curious about this too. I actually asked on another thread—specifically the weight loss group—if anyone here uses it or has used it before. Any insights would be appreciated, I guess.

In the US, new products have to clear rigorous testing protocols—usually spanning three or four distinct stages—before they ever hit the shelves. These are categorized as Phase 1, Phase 2, and so on.
I’m choosing to believe the product name was selected at random; it would be quite unfortunate if it actually indicated they were only in Phase 2. Do check on that—nobody wants to be an accidental guinea pig.

It’s not like Phase 2 is some brand-new thing or anything. A buddy of mine has been trying it out alongside the UN diet, and she says it actually works 🙄 Like, if you pair UN + Phase 2 and take two pills a day, you can drop about four or five pounds a week.

So, I actually started this whole thread on the health board like a week or two ago, but they moved it over to the women's section. Honestly, I’m just curious if they’re going to move it again, because if the mods are reading this, just know I’m still pretty annoyed about it.
Huge thanks to the OP for reopening this right where it belongs.
I’m seriously considering picking up some Phase 2 once I wrap up this UN diet, but only if I see enough positive feedback here.
Come on, for those of you who have already tried it—give me the lowdown. What’s the damage on the price? Any weird side effects? Anything I should watch out for regarding contraindications? And how does it actually work?

A friend of mine just grabs it straight from their official website, and even with shipping, it lands around $87. Honestly, there aren't many side effects to worry about, maybe just a little bit of "bloating."
But hey, we all know how companies sometimes "forget" to mention certain side effects of meds or supplements when they need to. Just so you know, one bottle comes with 60 tablets, which lasts a month
. As for precautions, it’s not recommended for pregnant women or anyone dealing with diabetes.
By the way, Phase 2 pops up under different names, which is why prices vary so much. Most of the time, you'll see companies from England selling it across Europe.
It's actually pretty tough to explain exactly how it works, but basically, it targets the carbs you eat so you don't have to be super strict with your diet. 🙄
Usually, people pair Phase2 with the UN diet 😉

Charles Edwards8, thanks... though I guess it doesn't mean much coming from someone on the UN diet, since the weight would probably drop regardless... nobody really trusts that chemical stuff anyway.

A friend was just telling me about how certain weight loss supplements or pills are actually banned in some parts of the country because they’re super dangerous for your health. It's pretty wild how much damage they can do... honestly, it feels like you really need to do your homework and double-check what you're actually putting into your body before you even think about starting them.
I remember hearing about those Reductil tablets—you take them, eat like you normally would, and the pounds just start dropping off. I even know a woman who lost a ton of weight using them, but now she’s just not herself anymore; it completely messed with her nerves. Well, I guess there's two sides to every coin, right?

Charles Edwards8, thanks man!
Honestly, maybe the smartest move would be to just swing by a local CVS and ask the pharmacist, or even better, check in with my primary care doctor to see what they think.
Where on earth did you get the idea that this stuff mixes well with the UN diet?
Does it actually say that in the instructions??
If you ask me, when you’re already strictly dieting, you probably shouldn't be taking this. Since the diet is already pretty low-calorie to begin with, trying to strip even more carbs out of such a small amount of food feels kind of risky—not to mention that on protein-heavy days, there isn't really any extra carb intake for the pill to even work on.
But hey, if the product isn't actually dangerous, it might be pretty ideal for the phase right after finishing the diet.

You can find it at the pharmacies over at Natural Wealth, though it’ll set you back $43. Honestly, I'm not even sure if it actually works yet since I just picked it up myself

Honestly, asking your GP about this isn't exactly the best move😉. I won't even get into why right now.
You can either follow a diet plan exactly as it’s written, or tweak things a bit—but obviously, you need to know what you're doing if you go the custom route.

My husband actually uses a customized version of the Wainhofen diet, and man, does it work! He doesn't even give the UN diet a second thought😉 and honestly, he's pretty much over it🙂. I should probably give him some credit here😎 because he’s been helping others tailor their own plans too; if anyone's interested, just shoot me a DM.

Regarding calories, one of the authors of that UN diet manual says this:
"What about calories?
One of the perks of this diet is that you don't have to deal with the headache of counting calories, since there aren't really any restrictions on food portions."
From what I've read, everyone's favorite part is the "carb day"🙄. Because of that, I actually think taking two Phase 2 tablets on carb days is a pretty smart move.

Look, the product isn't dangerous at all (you can safely take up to 6 tablets a day), but as for how well it actually works? You'll just have to try it for yourself and see!🙂

I’ve been eyeing this thread for a while now...
I actually just spotted this product at a CVS recently, and it really caught my eye. Since it looks like it's been about seven months since the last update here, I was curious to hear if anyone has had any new experiences or results in the meantime.
