So... I’m looking for those old-school, "grandma’s kitchen" kind of remedies to deal with fatigue and constant sleepiness. Coffee just doesn't seem to do much for me anymore. I can handle a few Red Bulls if I really need to, but is there anything else out there that actually helps clear the mental fog?

I’d slap you across the face just to get you awake... 😬
Just kidding... it wasn't my grandma's advice... but seriously, remember when everyone was obsessed with those old energy drinks????
If you were down in South America, they'd probably just call you a little chicken 😬

Those energy shots from Enzo Ferrari... they actually did the trick for me when I needed to stay awake.
I don't know if it's just me, but if I take them too late in the evening, sleep becomes impossible. Better to grab one in the middle of the day so the kick lasts you through the night...

someone seriously needs to study for their damn finals 🤣

😈 ....you should've been doing this regularly .... 🙂 🧐 🙂 every single day, not just like this....

🙂 🙂

...take a look at how insane things are getting over on Broadway... 🤣

Look, let's get specific about this constant exhaustion... jokes aside, tell me straight: is there actually any chance I won't wake up feeling like a zombie before work? If I hit the sack at 6 PM and sleep through the night, am I still going to be wiped out? Is there an actual fix for this, or what? 😬

Eating well really makes a difference.
I used to deal with those same issues constantly, but honestly, ever since I switched to a cleaner diet, they've just sort of vanished.
Plus, there's definitely less stress involved.👍

Yeah, I definitely need to. It just happens that after working all day, I'll sit down to watch a movie in the evening and suddenly I'm so hooked that I end up staying up until 2 AM, and then there is absolutely no way I'm waking up before 1 PM. It's been like this for a while now. Usually, I have a decent routine where I go to bed around 2 AM and get up by 9 or 10 depending on my classes at NYU, but lately, my schedule has been a total disaster.

Andrew Clark, where can I actually find some of that? And how much does it usually run me?

I actually spotted those guarana capsules in my DMs earlier.

Honestly, I haven't quite worked up the nerve to try it yet. Besides, neither coffee nor Red Bull does much to help me stay awake. 😁

I think I'll spend a little time Googling what this guarana stuff is actually all about.

That sounds like a solid plan, I'm actually going to head over to the pharmacy and check my messages to see what else is there. Thanks 🙂

guarana 😍 🙏

So what, it only comes in capsules? In Brazil, they have guarana soda, basically like Coke or something...

If you ask me, most people are just struggling with feeling exhausted and sleep-deprived, especially us college students! Right!? For me, hitting the gym and sticking to a steady, healthy eating routine is what saves the day... hmmm... that's about it!

I would suggest calling it "contradiction."
A strong dose of Starbucks helps.

Guarana is basically just standard capsules you can find at any CVS or Walgreens, $10.00
