Detour

What’s the consensus on this new group that popped up after Detour split? Are we looking at an upgrade or just a downgrade?🙂
What’s everyone thinking is the standout track from the new album?

Detour is just as solid as Yammat, though I have to admit my personal favorites are "summer starting" and "month."

So, did anyone actually make it out to the concert? I know they were hitting all the big spots, like New York City, Seattle, San Francisco, and Charleston... 😉

The collaboration between John Doe and Jane Doe..
I find "Month" and "Google" to be quite wonderful tracks, along with a few other decent pieces...
However, the album as a whole is rather lackluster and feels somewhat tedious..
They were in New York City this weekend, though I didn't make it out there...
From what I gather, they managed to pick up quite a few nominations for the Elon Musk Awards..
I truly wish them the best of luck.. 🙄

Nah... honestly, she’s not even playing in the same league as them, but hey, that’s just my two cents!😈
Today, The New York Times is dropping a CD as a little Valentine's Day gift, and it actually features a track by Detour—can't quite remember which one, but I'm betting it's Month.🙂
So, if you're curious and haven't checked it out yet, go for it. But if you aren't into that kind of thing, then just forget it!😬

I wouldn't go so far as to say they're better than John Doe's debut album—though I suppose they're still pretty decent...

A total breath of fresh air for the American music scene... honestly just vibing with everything they put out... this new single "Friend" is easily some of the best stuff hitting the US charts right now...

I just finished listening to the "What if" album, and I have to say—it’s such an incredibly charming record. It feels warm, sincere, and completely unpretentious...
The melodies are fantastic; they're clever without feeling forced at all! The lyrics seem perfect for happy couples—or those hoping to become one!😍 Though, naturally, there's something in there for those who aren't quite in that stage anymore 😢

In the morning, Flower, Nema, Snow, Far Away, New Hope, I'm Dancing Alone, Circles and Smiles, Big Heart—those are the tracks that really stood out to me on this first listen. I haven't checked out their earlier stuff yet, so I can't make a direct comparison, but this band clearly has massive potential!
