I’ve got a question regarding my cassette tapes. I was listening to them on my old radio, but then the sound completely changed. On this newer radio, the songs just sound muffled and dull... is there any hope for the tapes themselves?

And how exactly would you save her? Toss her a life jacket?

It usually boils down to a few things; either the thing is old, you've played it a billion times, or the recording quality is just trash. Or maybe you’re listening through some subpar gear. That’s pretty much the gist. Then again, maybe she was just criticized when you mentioned the sound changed, or perhaps your hardware isn't performing quite right. It's one of those things.

Is there any hope? Give it CPR and some chest compressions. I mean, does what you're hearing even exist on the tape itself?

There are a few variables at play here; either the recording is ancient, you've played it a billion times, or the production quality was subpar to begin with. Or perhaps you're just listening through mediocre gear. That covers most bases. It could also be that the sound profile shifted since you last noticed, or maybe your own hearing isn't what it used to be... It’s one of those things.

Is there any hope? Give it CPR and chest compressions. But does the thing you're listening to even exist on a tape?

Yeah, because half these tracks aren't even deep house anyway. 🤔

Hey everyone, does anyone happen to know where I can track down a copy of Eminem's *Infinite* from back in '96, or maybe one of those 2009 re-releases? If anyone here has one sitting around and is looking to sell or even just trade, please hit me up.

Thanks a ton!

Man, I'm on the hunt for some Amebix vinyl. So far, I've managed to snag No Sanctuary and Sonic Mass.

Thanks in advance.

Check eBay, for instance—probably around $10-$12.

I'm on the hunt for a Giant (Cold Brew) LP. If anyone's willing to part with theirs, let me know. 😬
