Back in those days, vinyl didn't hold any value. The stuff people actually wanted were the early '80s releases, much like today—those '90s bands were pretty much nothing. But looking at things now....
I suppose for my generation, they’re still nothing, but clearly they aren't for the younger crowd, so prices are just skyrocketing.
If you asked most people my age, this record probably wouldn't even be worth more than $17 today.

Is there anything more predictable? As scarcity increases, the price tag inevitably climbs. It’s almost comical how consistently that works, isn't it? One becomes harder to find, and suddenly, everyone is willing to empty their pockets for it. Basic economics, I suppose. Or perhaps just another way for the world to stay predictably expensive. 🙂
