...I was just scrolling through that current 40th Anniversary New Wave playlist (complete with lyrics) over at America Records.
There’s also stuff listed under Jugoton Music... though some things seem off.

While digging around, I stumbled upon Sanjas Li U Boji ? (1982)... which is actually the B-side of that cult single by TV from Mexico City... but strangely enough, the A-side isn't there yet.🤔

.....and check this out—it's the first time I've ever seen their studio performance on this - TV (1982)

.....and naturally, there's absolutely nothing from the B-52s either...😠

The first LP run is already sold out. I guess they didn't expect this much hype here in the States, so they probably only pressed a small batch to begin with.

Honestly, I just love how Discogs classifies albums...
.......they’re super helpful most of the time, though occasionally they just wander off in every possible direction at once...

.....Take the record I just suggested for "Album of the Week"—Bill Nelson - The Diary of a Wimpy Kid (1982)....To me, it's pure New Wave with this incredibly distinct sound design that feels totally hazy and atmospheric...

.....On Discogs, the original US LP (1982) is tagged as electronic / experimental...
.....Right under that, the first US CD release is listed as electronic / rock, with styles like new wave / art rock / ambient...
.....Then you have the 2005 reissue with bonus tracks—new wave / electro / synth pop...which I actually think is probably the closest fit to what the original release truly represents...
