I finally sat down to rewatch it yesterday after such a long time. Honestly? I was worried I wouldn't vibe with it like I used to, but man, was I wrong.🙏 It’s just so warm and packed with incredible characters.🙏

Life up north... man, it really takes me back. I remember being a kid and heading out before school started, so watching this kind of brings all those old memories flooding back. For me, this show is just legendary—it’s got that totally trippy, alternative vibe. My favorite parts have to be those weird, surreal sequences they throw in every now and then, like when Ed ran into that Native American guy who used to visit him, or whenever Joe starts having those wild dreams. Honestly, the whole series is just top-tier.

Wait, did I even watch this series before?! 🤷

To be honest, I actually caught a few minutes of it just a couple of days ago 🙂

I managed to snag the first four seasons, but I can't find an American dub for seasons 3 and 4 anywhere. Anyone know how to track those down?

I don't think there's even an American translation available for seasons 3 and 4...
though the English version definitely exists. 😁

I was reading somewhere that these DVDs on the market are missing the original series soundtrack. Apparently, CBS decided it wasn't worth the massive headache or the astronomical licensing fees required to clear all those songs, so they just swapped everything out for generic filler music...

On another note, I'm trying to figure out which episode we actually watched today, but there's absolutely no indication provided anywhere. Any idea which one it was?

Does anyone happen to know if the season three DVDs have actually hit the shelves yet?

An excellent series—top-tier quality. I first watched it about 10 or 15 years ago. Revisiting it now brings a certain sense of relaxation—contentment, even—to my routine.

👍 I have to say, I completely agree with every single word you wrote; it’s a truly beautiful show with such a positive vibe, and that hasn't changed one bit since I first saw it over a decade ago.

Los, who shows up in the opening credits, is actually the only elk that ever got paid $5,000 for his work. He was basically an orphan from Alaska who ended up at the University of Washington, right in the heart of the US where they filmed the show. 🙂

Does anyone happen to know who's singing in this episode? You know, at the end when Chris turns on all those crazy colorful lights and that music starts playing—it sounds just like an Indian version of Enyu. Who is that vocalist?

Has anyone seen that part where Chris launches that piano like a catapult? 🤷

Man... 😍
