Anthony Kim18 said:who in their right mind would buy that?
It is simply a matter of when they decide to air it again.

I am not so sure—having it on DVD is far better if you want to binge an entire season in one afternoon. 😁
At this price point, buying every single season would cost $467 😲

There’s always someone willing to lend a hand if you know where to look.

Naturally, my favorite was always the one nobody else could stand—everyone else was obsessed with Chris, but I found myself drawn to Dr. Fleischman. Ricast, a Jew from New York City; honestly, what’s not to love? 😁
I suppose Ed Chigliac had his charms, though he reminded me far too much of myself: that unproven filmmaker, hopelessly devoted to the seventh art, yet constantly battling a bout of low self-esteem. He even had a demon by that very name. Haha. 😉 That said, the most legendary figure in the entire series remains Adam the cook. A total icon.

Ed, I actually liked him too. Wait, was Adam really a chef?

Look, I’m a total Chris fanatic myself 😍, but Rob Morrow (Fleischman) was the true genius of the series—once he left, the whole show lost its edge... 😢
I had no idea Ed was actually a blond; he dyed it black specifically for the show—I honestly can't picture him with blond hair. 😁

ps. If my math is right, if they released every season as only 4 episodes on DVD, the total cost would be massive $467. 😲

If I can switch it over to Canadian, you should be able to flip it to American. You’re not just stuck with whatever the menu settings say; you can swap subtitles on the fly while the show is actually running.

I've tried everything—it looks like my DVD is hardcoded in Canadian. Honestly, I should've known better when that shady guy at the corner bodega kept swapping out one disc for another. No matter what I pick, it's nothing but CANADIAN!!!!!!!

Try it on a computer first; if it really is just Canadian, go swap them. 😉

Sandra Carter53 said:So, what I'm hearing is the first two seasons come out in 2-DVD sets, and then the remaining four seasons will be 6-DVD sets?

Actually, they're only releasing the first two seasons at retailers for now. The rest aren't available yet.

Then I'll just pick up the second one. 😁
I've had 1, 2, 5, and 6 for quite some time—minus the subtitles—but 2 and 6 are absolute garbage quality.

Anyone catching OBN? I've been watching Alaska (even with the terrible subtitles) on Sundays around 8 or 9 PM!

Well, I'm not entirely certain if that was his official profession, though I recall him constantly whipping up various delicacies for them. 🙂

So, just to make sure we’re all on the same page regarding the material—the second DVD drops next week, right?

Does this include American subtitles at the end? Has anyone actually bothered to check the DVD? 😉

My disc has both American and Canadian subtitles—both work perfectly fine without any issues whatsoever.

Please, the guy was a chef, a secret agent, and probably half a dozen other things we haven't even figured out yet.🤣
