Megan Reed said:this is how it was reported in the papers:

that’s basically my guide here—you actually mentioned that already, didn't you?
it was actually you who tipped me off about the date...

Look, I’m just repeating myself because someone else claimed the second one was already out. The schedule is every two weeks, not every single week. 🙂

Yeah, I totally had a crush on Ed too. He was such an individualist—a real deep thinker and a self-taught intellectual. He always tackled problems from such a smart, objective angle.
The mundane, everyday grind just wasn't his thing. To him, every day looked the same on the surface, but his mind was constantly exploring something new.
He used his radio show as a way to step out of his own head and actually share those big ideas with everyone else in town.
Hands down my favorite character in the whole series.

The mundane stuff of daily life never really interested him. To him, every day might have looked the same on the surface, but I suspect his internal world was constantly shifting.
I guess he used the radio station more as a way to engage with his community rather than just retreating entirely into his own head.
In my opinion, he’s definitely the best character in the series.

You might be thinking of Chris...😕

Yeah, yeah, Chris... I'm talking about him, that half-Indian radio host.
wait, who's Ed? Is he that astronaut guy? He's my friend's favorite character.

Ed is that Indian guy who’s always rocking a black leather jacket, shadowing Fleischman everywhere, and is basically obsessed with movies. 😉

Anthony Kim18, go grab a DVD; once you see it, you'll finally realize who's actually worth watching and who's just noise.

I had no idea Ed was actually a blond; he dyed his hair black specifically for the series—I honestly can't picture him with blond hair. 😁

ps. if my math is right, if they released every season in 4-episode DVD sets, it would cost a fortune$467. 😲

It’s pretty obvious we were all obsessed with Chris😍, even if Fleischman definitely had his moments too😉.
Personally, I thought Shelly was great. She looked like such a typical blond, but then she’d suddenly drop some deep insight out of nowhere. Her marriage was also the first time I saw an age-gap relationship on TV that actually felt totally natural and normal to me.

Shelly works as a waitress and lives with Holling, who owns the local pub.

Uh, I don't really remember them.
They were probably pretty boring, right?

Not really... they had their moments, I suppose. Like when Shelley was completely obsessed with satellite TV, or those few episodes where Holling went head-to-head with his arch nemesis, Teddy Bear. That’s pretty much all I can recall off the top of my head.
