But seriously, does this actually mess with your day-to-day life? (Sorry to bug you, just asking because I'm dealing with the exact same thing)

I'm wondering the same damn thing.😕

Yeah, obviously it messes with me... I've been late to my college lectures because of it, and at work, I'm constantly taking extra breaks

how am I even supposed to justify being away from my desk...???

I'll show up to class right before the professor walks in, only to realize I have to bolt for the restroom immediately

Even just a standard night out turns into a total nightmare if I haven't been careful about what I ate earlier that day

It used to happen all the time—like, I'd see a girl I was actually interested in😬 and suddenly, boom, I need to find a bathroom right this second

it's gross

but since I started watching my diet, things have been better🙏

Just a simple night out becomes an absolute nightmare if I haven't watched my diet that day.
It used to happen all the time—one minute I see a girl I'm interested in😬 and the next, I'm sprinting for the bathroom.
It's gross.
But since I started watching what I eat, things have actually improved.🙏

Personally, I never dealt with this before, though I definitely inherited a sensitive stomach from my dad. Over the last few months, things have really taken a turn for the worse and it's been driving me crazy. I honestly thought I might be allergic to dairy or something, so I started keeping a food diary.

BTW, I think we already crossed paths on that "fast digestion" thread😉 but honestly, you can never have enough advice or conversation about this. 🙂 (At least not for me)

It all comes down to psychology. Maybe Meg just doesn't trust the driver, or if she’s behind the wheel herself, she lacks confidence in her own driving skills...

As a kid, I ALWAYS used to get motion sickness—buses, cars, boats, you name it... I was constantly throwing up. But ever since I started driving, it's disappeared completely. Sometimes before a long trip, I'll get a bit of pre-travel anxiety where I can't sleep the night before, but I don't deal with any physical issues like stomach problems.

Whatever you do, don't take any sedatives if you're the one driving. They make you drowsy and things can go south fast... especially Valium.
