... hands down the most obnoxious, spoiled, and just plain clueless group of people in our society...

I’ve heard that most of them are actually pedophiles and/or transvestites!

Those idiots who "privatize" public assets—basically just manipulating everything for their own gain—and actually expect all the staff (nurses, techs, janitors...) to basically be their servants... total snobs...

"Fix my bed, make me coffee, run out and grab me some smokes or the paper," blah, blah, blah...

And the saddest part? Nobody can do a damn thing about them...

Look, seriously: I get it, you probably had some nightmare experience with a doctor or two, and honestly, I feel for you. But that doesn't make everything you just typed above true. Just tell us what actually happened, what went wrong, whatever...

Or hey, why not just go screw with them properly? Go to med school, get the degree, and show 'em how it's done. 😉

I’m lost here. Are you trying to say that most—not all—doctors in America actually show some respect to their nurses and staff... and basically view them as their right hand? 🙄 Or is it actually the exact opposite...

What I’m getting at is that Americans, generally speaking, aren't just poorly educated; they can be downright rude. And that goes for everyone: the doctors, the nurses, the technicians, the lab workers, and even the security guards out front.

I work at the hospital, and almost every single day I have to watch these arrogant, spoiled snobs flaunt their private little luxuries...

Nobody is stopping you from becoming one of them. All it takes is willpower and persistence. Just go back to school. At 60, I enrolled at a medical university and finished two years—just enough to understand my own health issues. These days, I occasionally sit in on
classes that catch my interest, like neurology, respiratory care, or men's health... because I want to be able to speak on equal footing with doctors regarding my own conditions, which, unfortunately, I have quite a few of.

So, I’m not complaining. In fact, I can say that both the younger students and the professors have been incredibly kind to us older folks... there are plenty of people heading back to school later in life. It's always easiest to criticize from the sidelines!

Look, I don't care what kind of degree I have or what school I went to—and honestly, hats off to them for being doctors, really—but that’s no excuse to act like everyone else is beneath them... like we're just
servants or something.
They aren't some kind of royalty! They're here to do a job, and for the most part, they do it fine, but the way they treat the rest of the hospital staff is just plain pathetic...

Most doctors are actually hardworking, capable people who spent their whole lives grinding just to get their degrees, their specialties, and their positions—both inside the hospital and out. On top of that, they handle their responsibilities as best they can, knowing they have human lives in their hands.

If you're dealing with certain patients acting up toward you as a nurse, maybe try finding a different job... then you'll see if things are really that much better elsewhere...

It’s funny how that works! You don't really realize how great things are back home until you move somewhere else in the States.

My job is lightyears away from the medical field.
From an outsider's perspective, the healthcare situation looks pretty intense!

Honestly, I could never do what they do—whether it's being a doctor or a nurse—no matter how much money was on the table. You have to pour so much time, knowledge, strength, heart, and soul into it.
