Saturday morning started off on a bit of a rough note. Turns out the wind is just too brutal right now.

Might be interesting to see how this plays out.

It’s been 27 years since we’ve seen the Open hosted like this, and everything kicks off this Monday. DJ is set to lead the charge, and honestly, if anyone deserves a Major right now, it’s that kid... though I can't help but hope that Scott—who we all adore—and Spieth, whose streak we've been following so closely, might just throw a wrench in those plans.

The weather forecast for Sunday looks like it might actually favor the long hitters. Conditions should be pretty much perfect right when the heavy hitters start their rounds.
DJ might even end the day sitting at the top of the leaderboard.

Pepperell is absolutely tearing it up—she's been on fire through the first 15 holes. Spieth just notched a birdie on the first, which definitely looks promising...

Honestly, thank God Pepperell hasn't accidentally taken someone out at the hotel by the 17th hole yet.

Even an amateur is leading 🤣

Pebble Beach 🙏 🙏

Jordan Spieth is playing in mild weather tomorrow, and honestly, I’m starting to have my doubts about how this is all going to play out...

A bit of rain and some wind in the forecast for Monday afternoon over at Pebble Beach. Might just be enough to make for an interesting finish.

Come on, Sergio 🙂

The Aussies are absolutely crushing 🙏 🙏

I can’t even stand to watch Zach Johnson draw a line on a scorecard right now; I just pray he doesn't end up taking any strokes...
Then you have Jordan Spieth, bouncing back with two birdies on two brutal holes immediately after carding a double bogey—that is exactly what defines his character.

Garcia dropping two straight bogeys 🤦

I can practically smell a playoff run in the air...

Jordan Spieth just had a birdie putt lip out right at the edge of the cup... absolute heartbreak 🤦

Scott just fell apart 🍿

Leishman, what have you done... 🤦

Now Jordan Spieth is leading 🙏 🙏

No Grand slam for him 😢

Look.
I'd take Zach Johnson over Jordan Spieth any day.

bumping this thread! ☕

We’re here, keeping a close eye on 🍿

With Jordan Spieth out on the course, and Leppard Scott right there with him too...

😂 Iwata opened with a 77, then went out and matched the major championship record with a 63 in the second round 🤣

John Daly is a total legend!
Ten shots in a couple of swings and then he's tossing his club right into Lake Michigan.
