Is everyone seriously watching football instead of the US Open? Kaymer is absolutely tearing it up right now, and I'm curious to see if he can actually hold onto that lead through the final round. Honestly, Pinehurst no. 2 is proving to be a brutal test once again, but I have to admit, I’m digging this "rustic" vibe they've got going on here...😁

I'm hoping Kaymer pulls it off.
They set those flags way too easy for the final day of a tournament like this, if you ask me.

They were a bit easy, sure, but yesterday was brutal—balls were flying all over the green. 😁

Personally, I’d love to see Henrik Stenson take it, though I don't mind Kaymer either. As long as some American doesn't win it... 😬

Maybe Ma Martin pulls it off. Though, honestly, it's pretty hard to call anything in golf.

The Europeans seem to be finding their rhythm lately. This year's Ryder Cup should be a fun one to watch.

I haven't been able to follow much at all; football has basically taken over everything. I'll just have to catch the final round during the breaks in the games today.

What an absolute win for Martin Kaymer!

An eight-stroke lead! And then you’ve got the commentators over at NBC acting like it's just boring. Funny how that works—back when Tiger Woods was crushing it like that, everyone thought it was the greatest thing ever.

But man, you have to tip your cap to Erik Compton. The guy has actually had heart surgery twice—once back in '92 when he was only 12, and again in '08 at age 28—and he still manages to pull off a second-place finish at the US Open. That’s pretty wild.

I put my money on A. Scott—mostly because 50% of the betting crowd thinks he’s taking it all.
Even though J. Rosa is the heavy favorite on paper, I went with Scott since he's been on a tear lately and honestly, the guy just can't stop winning.

Nothing from our Scott today. It looks like Rory is just going to cruise his way to a third major while we watch...

There’s still plenty of golf left to play. Rory McIlroy is sitting on a four-stroke lead, but things could get pretty interesting today at The Open Championship.
For the first time ever, they're starting from the 1st and 10th tees because the weather forecast looks pretty rough.
As you can see, we're dealing with heavy rain and wind. It’s that classic UK weather, definitely not that bright sunshine and dead calm air we saw on day one.

It's basically a done deal; I wouldn't be surprised if Jordan Spieth ends up outperforming Garcia.

So, Dustin Johnson—who happens to be Wayne Gretzky's future son-in-law—just tested positive for cocaine. That’s apparently his third time in four years.
The test went down back in mid-June during the US Open.
Even with all that drama, Johnson still managed to walk away with a fourth-place finish at the tournament.

The Ryder Cup 2014 is going down at Gleneagles in Scotland from September 26th through the 28th.
Europe is actually the defending champ here, since they managed to edge out the USA with a tight 14.5 - 13.5 win two years back.
Looking back at the history since they first started playing this format in 1979—though it used to be UK & Ireland before that—Europe has taken the trophy 10 times, while the USA has grabbed it 7. The Europeans have actually won the last two, I think.

Routine finish at the end.
We didn't even need any of those clutch moves from Justin Poulter to pull off the win.

It feels like we’re watching the exact same handful of enthusiasts cycle through the same arguments again.
Look, my money is on Scott, but honestly, it's hard to make any real predictions after such a chaotic start to the season. I’d certainly love to see Tiger find his rhythm when he makes his comeback, though I'm not holding my breath...
I'm finally jumping into this conversation now, so please, go ahead and kill me if I've managed to drift down to -9 points already.

It honestly looks to me like Jason Day is someone who is finally starting to feel the weight of his years...
