What’s there to lecture anyone about? Back in my day, kids were doing this stuff at sixteen. Now it’s thirteen. What’s the big deal? As long as you don't end up pregnant, your girlfriend doesn't get pregnant, you stay STI-free, and you don't get hooked on the hard stuff... that's basically it.

The drinking, the partying—it's all the same. I'm not about to sit here acting outraged over thirteen-year-olds like I’m eighty years old and living in the Puritan era. Yeah, right...

I honestly think every era is basically the same when it comes to kids
every single generation before us has claimed the one following them is going to be even worse... if you follow that logic to its conclusion, we’d all just be walking around in a world full of tiny little devils 😁

then again, some things actually do line up... back in the day, kids were out working the fields or whatever 😁 so they didn't have nearly as much time to come up with nonsense—not to mention all the garbage being pumped through the media today like MTV and all that other crap...

I’m genuinely obsessed with this film; I could probably watch it a hundred times over without getting bored.

The cinematography is superb, and those colors used throughout—especially how it shifts toward black and white near the end—are just fantastic.

Reality... actually a decent flick👍
