Just caught this on ABC...

It was honestly great seeing it again after all these years...

Did you guys catch little Michelle Rodriguez?
She’s basically a star worthy of being pranked on Ashton Kutcher's Punk'd (it was on MTV yesterday)...

So much macho energy... Honestly, the movie is a solid 10/10.

For those out of the loop, this is that movie where the protagonist's wife cheats on him with his best friend. It hurts, obviously... Or, to quote Bo Burnham:

"... why did you ____ my wife while I was deployed?!!"

Anyway, I agree—the physics are nonexistent...

Like that one where you can kill someone just by hitting them hard enough to drive their nasal bone into their brain...

Or the one where you survive driving a car into a pool while simultaneously getting shot several times...

Or the one where having a mangled hand doesn't affect your ability to throw a football hundreds of yards...

Or the one where shooting a trunk full of plastic explosives is somehow a bad idea...

Etc., etc., etc...

This film has some of the most intense one-liners since the golden age of screwball comedies.

My favorite villain line ever—when Corleone talks about Halle Berry being the hottest girl he's ever been with, and Matt Damon snaps back: "There’s two feet of marble between us. I might make it, I might not. Call her that again and we'll see!" And Corleone, totally unfazed: "Jimmy... Jimmy! Do what you gonna do!" 😁 😁 😁

When that cop shows up to see Milton
And he tells him.....

I've got a feeling there's something wrong with this gun.
It's got too many bullets in it.....

Then he just guns the cop down with two shots....

I’ve already watched this movie three times and it still hits just as hard. There are so many legendary scenes, plus Bruce Willis is absolutely hilarious in it. 😁 I mean, that one joke about the heavy woman—"I rolled her in flour just to find the moist parts"—was gold. Or even the bit about the doll right before he goes full action hero on the bad guys.

I watched this film a few years back—it still sticks with me quite fondly. Truly one of the better performances from Bruce Willis.

It’s been such a long time since I sat down to watch this that I actually forgot just how good it is. 😍 Even with the way the local network totally butchered the edit here.

The way the characters are so aware of their own messy situations... it's just brilliant. 😁

I’ve got this on DVD and I probably run through it at least five or six times a month. Joe Hallenbeck is a cold piece of work. And then some

One of the heavier scenes is when he’s arguing with his wife; she tells him she cheated just because she was bored, and his response is basically:'Get a dog.

And then there's this bit:
Nobody likes you. Everybody hates you. You're gonna lose. Smile, you fuck.

Hands down, this is the absolute king of action movies. Seriously, if I tried to quote all my favorite lines, I’d end up filling half this entire forum... honestly, at this point, it might be easier to just upload the whole damn script.

I’ve been meaning to give this one another watch lately...
So, I’m sitting there watching, really getting into it, when I suddenly notice a few scenes have just... vanished. My first thought was, okay, maybe the signal just cut out or my streaming service glitched and skipped ahead a bit.
But then it happened again—another jump right during a sequence involving some intense action and explosions. That’s when it clicked: ABC must have censored the whole thing. Honestly, doing something like that in the 21st century—and without even a heads-up or a content warning at the start—is just wild.👎👎👎👎👎 If I had realized how much they butchered the footage beforehand, I probably would have skipped it entirely. The way they've sanitized it is honestly pretty terrible...👎👎👎
