If everything you listed were actually true, we'd be seeing early elections right now, and those people would have been held accountable... by being kicked out of their positions (Prime Minister, Cabinet members, etc.).

I'm leaning toward the second one.
Because, I mean, it takes real talent to take a country with all its potential and turn it into such a poverty-stricken mess. Only real crooks could pull that off.

And insults are the least of it; in a normal country, these people would be considered traitors. A hundred years ago, they'd be facing a firing squad.

Also, it's all the same thing—Democratic Party, Republican Party, whatever...

It's been the same group of people running the show for the last 35 years. Honestly, nothing a proper de-communization wouldn't fix. Except, even the new recruits get filtered through those old systems of privilege and corruption—stepping on everyone else just to get ahead. If you don't have those "talents," you can't move up.

We shouldn't even bother insulting them; we should just kick them out, ban them from public life, and keep them away from the younger generation.

We've got people in power who barely know English, let alone a second language. People who can't even send an email or find a news site online (though they're great at hiding under desks in Congress), people who are illiterate, useless, and whose only skill in life is living off someone else. They don't know anything else.

Nowadays, you need English and computer skills for any job. The people running the country should probably know way more than some warehouse worker or retail clerk, right?

Instead, we have incompetents leading the competent, and crooks destroying businesses just so they can buy them for cheap—people willing to slaughter anything just to get their piece of the pie.

We're stuck with people for whom insults are the mildest form of criticism. The fact that they don't even flinch when they're insulted says everything. Their motto is basically: say what you want, I know what I'm doing.

And hey, lady, stop crying for their honor. Let the people vent their rage here at least. Though, I think we'll reach that point from a century ago pretty soon, where traitors were shot, because even stronger nations couldn't handle this many thieves. Just wait until people start losing their homes and apartments; then an insult on a forum will be the least of what happens to those parasites.
