If you had to pick the top American athlete of 2004,
I’m really hoping this thread hasn't been done before,
though I have my doubts,😢

Basically, it’s been a long year packed with massive wins across the board. There are so many great options, so I'll leave it up to you guys to decide:

Hard to pick just one from this list—maybe two if we’re counting both Skelins 😁—but I’m going with Ančić...

(totally biased, obviously 😍 )

I’m putting my vote on Mihovil Španja. Honestly, looking at everything he brings to the table, he totally deserves to be named Athlete of the Year for 2004.
