Unless you're stuck using a 486DX2/66.

But if it’s something like )sd#4Rf&22A, yeah, you'll be there a while.

Definitely not worth the effort if it's your own PC.

heh, totally agree. using a dictionary attack, stuff like "admin" or "password123" gets cracked pretty fast.

Sadly I had to go brute-force, and even on a decent P3 machine it took forever. Wasn't my computer, either.😉

Unfortunately, I had to go the brute-force route on an old P3 machine, and man, did that drag on. Not like it was my own computer, anyway. 😉

So the owner just had a garbage password. If it were eight characters long and actually complex, you would have been waiting forever.

format C: autotest
The easiest fix ever.

Oh boy!
I've got a supporter here 😁

The actual procedure is:

The Code:
format c: /u /autotest

Using /u is optional, and /autotest is too, but hey, why not use them? 😁

Honestly, by the time you get an answer around here, you could have finished a full Windows installation! 😁

So, what's the runner-up when it comes to the best Intel processor?

The top dog is definitely the 486DX4/100 🙏 🙏

Whoa, hold on now—that's just not how it works! A 386DX40 is totally out of the running because, well, you know why. 🙏 🙏 🙏

I was messing around with a 486SX33 the other day. It’ll get the job done, eventually... you just have to be prepared to wait for it.
