I’ve got all the albums... some hit the spot, others don't really...
Still, "Night Like This" is one of my favorites, though I'm pretty sure it's a cover of The Cure... 😛

every fifth track they drop is decent enough😎
every tenth one is actually killer👍
which is a pretty solid hit rate if you ask me😁

but it's nowhere near being on that pavement level (honestly, who even compares them😕 )

personally, I think 1979 is the best, but honestly, that’s probably just because the music video is such a vibe🙂

because there really isn't much of a comparison to be made... It is
merely a small, lingering memory of the
Malkmus-Corgan conflict. :-)

In my opinion, that’s the truth—I’d go as far as to say they were the definitive band of the '90s. It’s a damn shame Billy Corgan is too obsessed with his own fame; in my view, that ego trip was the primary reason they fell apart.

...but hey, for melancholics like myself, he at least left us with Zwan to (not quite as successfully) haunt our playlists... 🙄

So, I was just sitting here thinking... maybe one of you folks might be feeling generous enough to make my day by helping me hunt down an "Aeroplane Flies High" collection? 😍

"it's official, the smashing pumpkins are currently writing songs for their upcoming album, their first since 2000. no release date has yet been set, but the band plans to begin recording this summer." 😍

And considering how Billy Corgan was talking last year about wanting to get the band back together...

What are your thoughts?
