What’s your go-to way to get moving—like, what kind of exercise do you actually enjoy doing?

What works best for you, and what leaves you feeling the most pumped afterward?

Just curious to see what everyone gets up to when they aren't hanging out here on the forum.🙂

Right now, I'm focusing on
squash,
plus some cardio at the gym just to make sure I actually have the stamina for it.

Billiards—if you can even call that a sport.
(If I play for an hour or two, my back starts killing me if I'm not in good shape.😉)

Once the weather warms up, I’ll pull my bike out of storage.

I still enjoy a few other things, though not quite during this season.
Playing half-court basketball in the gym (it's been a while since I've picked up a ball).
Going for long swims in the ocean.
Trying out paddleboarding—I gave it a shot once and really liked it.

I might even try skydiving one of these days.

James Taylor51: Is billiards actually a sport?
(A session can run an hour or two, and if you aren't in shape, your back really feels it 😉)

My back holds up just fine, though. 😁
And just to show off a little, 🙂 check out this site:

So, my folks finally went out and bought an elliptical machine, and now I’m just stuck here pedaling away like some frantic hamster in a wheel—except, you know, it's me, and it's way more pathetic. Just sitting here in front of the TV at night, going nowhere fast.

I find that fitness is truly my best outlet because I end up sweating like crazy, which feels like I'm flushing all those toxins right out of my system; by the time I'm finished, I feel completely exhausted, yet deeply satisfied...
I also really enjoy rollerblading, and honestly, I’d definitely include sex in that same category too!!!

So, I was stuck at this tournament from 3 PM until about 9 PM.

Toward the end, my lower back started acting up, so I figured I’d head over to the gym and try to work through it, I guess.
Plus, I really need to drop some weight anyway.

I feel like I'm in better shape now, though my arm is still feeling a bit shaky.
👋

That was just James Taylor51 writing; he messed up the log entry.

There are already plenty of threads about working out at the local YMCA, and most of them are pretty massive and thorough.

I’m asking you all to please check if there’s already something similar posted before you go ahead and start a new thread. 🙂
