I haven't had a chance to catch up on any of the posts in this thread yet, but I just wanted to say that I am finally sitting down to dive into it all today...

Watched a movie this past Saturday. My old man came along, too. He actually bought his ticket right next to mine 🙄. Then he spots himself on screen—in one of those background shots, I think—and suddenly he’s beaming with pride. Just totally full of himself. And then? He starts bragging to all my friends about how great he looks on film. He even had the nerve to call us losers because things aren't what they used to be, saying there aren't any good gigs left like there were back when he was young. Who knows, I guess. 🙂
