Sandra Rivera59 said:I'm looking for a good private doctor in Washington, D.C. because my leg is hurting, and I suspect it might be a vein issue. I'm honestly not sure which kind of specialist I should even be looking for. If anyone has a recommendation, I'd really appreciate it.

If you think it's a vein thing, maybe try Dr. Lastric. I think he has an office near the Mississippi River, if I'm remembering correctly.

1. For a comprehensive eye exam—which private clinic has superior equipment and staff—is it Bilic Vision, or should I look elsewhere?
2. Which private clinic is top-tier for vein and capillary issues?
3. Which hospital ENT specialist(s) come highly recommended?
4. Which hospital urologist(s) would you suggest?
Thanks in advance for any answers (if they actually materialize). :-)

Jack Grant2 said:I am looking for a recommendation for a private dermatologist in Miami who is a true expert when it comes to acne—someone really great, or honestly, just the absolute best.

Thanks!

I would suggest Tonc Stipić; he explains everything so calmly and thoroughly, he isn't aggressive with facial treatments, and he focuses on recommending creams and similar topical solutions.

On a related note regarding this topic, I visited an endocrinologist once, Betty Korljan, down in Miami, and she struck me as being a little bit blunt or brusque, though she seemed much kinder when I was there with my parent. I can't quite tell if it was just my own impression, though, so I'm not entirely sure.

I am looking for a second opinion because my first neurosurgeon told me I need stabilization—specifically, screws at the Lumbar Spine level—and frankly, I am terrified.

I read somewhere that he only performs cervical spine surgeries. Or perhaps I just mixed up the details.

Yes, I was actually one of his patients, and several other specialists have recommended him to me.
He handles cervical issues, but he does much more than that; for instance, he performed lumbar surgery on my primary care physician.
The waitlist for an appointment can be quite long, but unlike some 🙄, he is very easy to talk to regarding recommendations and other matters—he is incredibly approachable. 🙂

If you are looking for excellent recommendations for the lumbar spine, Dr. Sajko at Johns Hopkins Hospital is also highly regarded.

Additionally, for a physiatrist, I would recommend Dr. Miran Jakšić at Holy Spirit.

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could point me toward a really solid GP or maybe a physiatrist up in Seattle? It’s kind of an urgent situation for me, so any leads would be amazing, thanks a million!

I am looking for recommendations for a skilled vascular surgeon, urologist, or similar specialist who excels at creating arteriovenous fistulas for hemodialysis. In Miami, Dr. Ribičić handles this, but I must say my impression of him is poor based on numerous patient interviews—some report their fistula clogged, some suffered infections, and one even had to undergo the procedure five times...
People seem to have much better experiences with Dr. Pasini from the Rib area, but it appears he is no longer practicing. I need another name, perhaps a private practitioner, and location doesn't matter—even outside the US—as long as you know someone who can perform the procedure correctly.

I'd also be super grateful if anyone could recommend a private clinic or hospital in Washington, D.C. where I could go for an initial checkup first, and then just see where things lead from there... thanks!

Hi everyone,
I am looking for some solid recommendations for an experienced and highly trusted proctologist in the California or Gulf Coast areas. Does anyone know a specialist who really knows their stuff? Thanks!

Can anyone recommend a good spot in Miami for a circumcision? I'm definitely open to looking at private clinics.

Anyone else here gone through surgery for this? Like THD or the DG HAL RAR stuff... I'm wondering if you actually got rid of those damn hemorrhoids for good. Also, let me know where you went for the procedure,
and if anyone has experience with that clinic in Belgrade, maybe drop a comment.
Cheers.

I’ve been dealing with this issue for quite a long time now, with the severity fluctuating between minor flare-ups and more significant concerns from year to year. I actually went in for an examination a few years back, and at that time, the diagnosis was somewhere in the second or third stage. I would truly appreciate it if anyone could offer a recommendation for a highly skilled proctologist in Washington, D.C., where I can go to get a thorough follow-up exam... Thank you.

I’m looking for a recommendation for a specialist who actually takes the time to talk to you and explain things—someone knowledgeable about contact lenses here in Washington, D.C. (covered by Medicare). I wear soft lenses.

My mother-in-law has been dealing with migraines for years now. She doesn't live in NYC, but she visits every once in a while, so I’d love some solid neurologist recommendations for when she’s next in town.
And yeah, looking for private practice only—I want to get her tests done ASAP so she isn't stuck on some massive waiting list.
Thanks!

I went to the local health clinic to see their ophthalmologist—I can't recall the specific name, but when I was booking my appointment, the receptionist mentioned that everyone there is great. Honestly, they gave me more attention there than I received for my Rib during surgery. They were also kind enough to offer some comfort when I found out I already have cataracts at just 23 years old.

I am looking for a specialist who deals with tumors; specifically, a tectal glioma.
I'm open to exploring any new treatment options, whether it involves advanced radiation therapy, surgical interventions, or anything else that might be available.
I am willing to travel to any continent or any countryto find the right care.
Any information or leads you can share would be greatly appreciated.
