I got my vision corrected at Light Clinic about a year ago—seeing perfectly now.. If you're pulling the trigger, go there.. I've heard nothing but good things and honestly, I was super happy with it. The staff is really sweet and knows their stuff; they walk you through everything during the exam. Plus, Dr. Gabriel kept chatting and making me laugh during the actual procedure, so I didn't even realize when he told me we were finished😁
Anyway, if you want more info, check out the laser eye surgery threads on here—just ignore Joel's comments, he's easily the biggest buzzkill I know🤷

It's for my mom. The dentist she used a few years back didn't properly seal her root canals, and now she’s dealing with a bridge and some serious inflammation underneath everything. The guy she's seeing now is just too rushed, impatient, and honestly, pretty rude. I really need to find someone skilled, gentle, and willing to take their time.

Go poke around their website. Their surgeon is a total trauma specialist, and those guys have a reputation for actually getting results. Apparently, they’ve got this cutting-edge method they’ve never even used here in the States before, so who knows? You might actually find a way out of this without going under the knife. But hey, if it's truly unavoidable, then yeah, go ahead and get the operation done if you have to.🤷

She’s unprofessional, rude, and totally vulgar. Her office is a mess, too;
there’s even a bin overflowing with used exam swabs right in the middle of the room, making it feel more like
a vet clinic than a doctor's office. She snaps at patients, doesn't listen
to anyone, fails to actually review your medical history, and performs the most
painful Pap tests imaginable.
It's awful!! The only good thing about the place is the lovely nurse.

I need some help here. Does anyone know of a dentist in NYC or V who performs extractions using a screw method? I realize how bizarre that sounds—honestly—but back when we were in Germany, a dentist handled a leftover root for a kid by actually threading a tiny screw into the root itself to pull it out... no major surgery required. It was surprisingly painless, too. Now, I’m facing the same issue; there’s a root that needs to come out, but the tooth is so destroyed that the dentist literally has nothing left to grab onto to pull it. My doctor doesn't want to start cutting into my gums and performing whatever surgical nonsense he thinks is necessary... I just want that screw method again. Does anyone actually know who does this?!

Just wanted to drop a quick note and let you guys know that out of that whole massive crowd of dentists, I finally went ahead and picked one. StacyI was seriously torn between her clinic and Studio Dental, but honestly, I just went with her because the commute was way easier, and looking back, I’m totally stoked with that call. I ended up getting two rounds of endogenous whitening plus a full laser whitening treatment. My teeth are definitely a few shades brighter now, and while they were a little sensitive for a couple of days right after, it went away pretty fast, I guess. I also have to say, the nurses and the doctor were super friendly and easy to talk to, which really helped. 😍 They walked me through every single little step of the whole process, and honestly, they kept checking in on me the entire time just to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I wasn't in too much pain or anything. Plus, they were super chill about the scheduling and being flexible with how I paid, which I guess was a huge relief.
Look, I won't beat around the bush or waste your time, but this is my absolute top recommendation. 👍
