Ed Hunter said:To put it simply... Leslie Nielsen 🙏

which installment do you all consider the peak? Personally, I’d argue the first one is the undisputed champion, though the second holds its own quite well... and even the third has its charms
good grief, I've completely lost my train of thought

First of all, we have the incomparable Leslie Nielsen 🙏 🙏

Secondly, I am genuinely baffled as to how I managed to miss this thread entirely yesterday 😕 😕

That being said, I am also a massive fan of this particular actor, and I've always had a soft spot for films built on this specific foundation—you know, the art of parody and satirical mockery—absolute legends!!!!!!!!!!!

I find the first film superior to the second, while the third has faded so far into my memory that I can barely recall the plot (it was ages ago)!!!!!!!

Leslie Nielsen actually appeared in the third installment of the Dark Horse Comics series, so if anyone has actually sat through that one... 😂😂👋

...just a little tip for next time... check the subforum index to see what's been going on lately (they're even sorted alphabetically) 😁 ...plus, it probably wasn't even showing up because it was started back in September of last year.

Those kinds of scenes have been used in a million cheesy comedies, but honestly, *Loaded Weapon 2* has the most convincing one out there. I’d put it in an anthology of great American cinema; who cares if it's foreign? It's not like we're some kind of extreme nationalists.😛

Inache, I absolutely love that old blues track "I guess I'm just screwed." I've been scouring the internet for it for ages, but it's nowhere to be found. 😠

It’s a shame we don’t have the Anna Nicole Smith Show airing here in the States yet...
You really need to see what she’s actually like.
😲

At least it looks like she’s finally starting to drop some weight.

You really ought to see what she looks like.

I am quite proud of myself. I decided to dive into this thread from the very beginning and, much like you, stumbled upon that particular post about Ana Nicole Smith. I was just getting ready to type out a reply asking, "What? Before or after her Jabba the Hutt phase?" when I noticed this:

casualotter21, you truly are a master of sarcasm. Your post was so incredibly good that I felt compelled to quote the whole thing.

Man... I didn't even realize she had spiraled that far.
Without that show, I wouldn't even know what she looked like.

casualotter21, you are a straight-up genius at sarcasm! Your post hit so hard I felt like I had to quote the whole thing.

...or maybe you just enjoy watching your own username hang out in the quote box...

Before she entered her "Marlon Brando" phase, she was a total knockout—assuming you're into those curvy Playboy bunnies, which I definitely am...😁. But lately? She looks like a pig. 🙄

Oh, and for the record, Leslie Nielsen was one of the greatest actors to ever walk the earth. The man absolutely owned his entire genre. Even if it was just parody, you have to tip your hat to him.

Well, I must have been completely oblivious to that—ha!—so thank you ever so much for the sudden ILLUMINATION. 😁

One of those goofy American comedies.
It’s over the top, but hey, at least it’s got style? Or maybe not.
Not exactly a masterpiece...

e, I absolutely love that movie—honestly, pretty much any parody starring Leslie Nielsen is a winner for me.🙂 And man, Spy Hard? That one’s actually solid too.🙂 I mean, even that guy in the commercial holding a Pepsi was kind of a vibe.😁
