What I was trying to get at is how there’s always this pervasive presence of a father figure being treated as the priority. A "father figure," if you will. Isn't it always the case? Even in the world of Donald Duck, he has all these nephews, yet where is the aunt? Or the mother? The male characters tend to dominate the narrative. You have Scrooge McDuck, then Sylvester, then Pluto... even Donald's female counterparts are relegated to the sidelines or don't show up until much later in the story.
Take The Lion King, for instance—the mother is essentially a non-entity in the grand scheme of things.

I suppose these thoughts just started surfacing after I sat through Finding Nemo...
Perhaps my perspective is skewed.

I guess I'm voting for Ice Age, but honestly, it's mostly just because of that squirrel.
Snow White is easily the best Disney movie, hands down. I guess it's just the GOAT.

That thirsty priest in The Little Mermaid!

The day one of my friends pointed out the growing boner on the priest from The Little Mermaid is the day that I learned my mind can be blown. Seriously—it was like the Holy Spirit of erections just possessed him. But honestly? You can't even blame the guy. Prince Eric is absolute eye candy! Real talk, that priest should’ve been the Pope. He's basically perfect. He's older, sure, but he'd be breaking massive barriers as the first cartoon Pope—plus, he's clearly unapologetic about getting hard for handsome guys. If you haven't caught this clip yet, just watch the priest's crotch (as if I actually had to warn your pervy ass). The man doesn't even have knees, but damn, he's definitely packing.
