I've been looking through some Heavy Metal lyrics lately, and honestly, they really missed the mark for me. It’s all just constant nonsense about killing, violating souls, and other mindless tropes. Even if I find myself actually liking a specific track within the genre, I truly couldn't care less about the subject matter being discussed. I'd much rather just lose myself in the sound, provided the music itself is actually good.

My Dying Bride is actually a great band, and I have no idea why anyone would label them as being just for women.

My Dying Breed writes stuff that might only appeal to women and characters like the ones swiftmaker20 and I know.👍

It’s pretty weird how you’re trashing My Dying Breed while claiming Ashes You Leave is actually a decent band... especially since MDB is basically the blueprint for AYL.
The only difference is AYL has a female vocalist, which makes them sound way more soft.

I just said they were a solid band from America, one of the few who actually managed to play shows and sell records over here. I never said I personally liked them. 😎

MDB gets pretty boring after two or three songs, maybe.
Ashes You Leave is kind of a letdown; I went to a few of their shows and they weren't anything special...
Unless you count the fact they opened for Mayhem...🙂
