I see everyone else is starting threads dedicated to their favorite bands, so I figured I’d kick things off by opening one specifically for this group.
What’s your take on them... I’ve only really started getting into their stuff lately.😛

A bit late to be getting into them, don't you think? They were absolutely massive back in the late 80s and early 90s when they dropped . After that, they kind of faded out—they put out one album in the mid-90s that was a total disaster.

I wonder if there are any other hits left?

The only thing I can really bring myself to listen to nowadays is "Youth run Wild," but even then, it's a once-in-a-blue-moon kind of thing for me...

I honestly think Skid Row is an incredible band. I grew up listening to them constantly, and even now, I still find myself coming back to them from time to time.

Give me a break, I was only six years old during the late 80s and early 90s, so there's no way I was getting into them back then, and honestly, your whole logic that a band is only relevant while they're actually playing is just fundamentally flawed...😳

It feels nearly impossible to dive into all of this nowadays, especially since the landscape has shifted so drastically over the years. I mean, you can't exactly find a sea of long hair on MTV anymore, even if you were looking for it with a magnifying glass...
Actually, I didn't really start getting into them until about three years ago, though lately, I've been listening to them much more intensely. It just felt as though😛
They’re solid, and in my opinion, "18&Life" from that first album is their absolute peak. That track is just incredible, but they have plenty of other great songs too, so if that's your style, you'll be happy...

Oh, and while the band isn't active anymore, I heard that Sebastian released some solo material that didn't exactly make a massive splash...😕 👋

Heh, this thread is already a year and a half old, though I still find myself thinking they’re actually a pretty solid band...

Sebastian Bach, specifically... I heard some rumors about him acting in it too, though I haven't actually caught him on screen yet...

I haven't really given it much thought either, I just know he looks like some kind of Viking warrior😕 😲

Look, time does its thing eventually.
He was on MTV once... that show where they show you where celebrities live... I can't remember the name... He's aged, his hair is 🙄 ...years, years pass...

Bottom line, Skid Row is one of my favorite bands.

I couldn't say for sure, all I know is that things would have turned chaotic again... Bach is a much bigger egomaniac than Axl, and the rest of the band probably wouldn't have stood him for very long...
