Will this version run on Windows XP without any issues?

Sure. Just to clarify, you need two separate little programs to run this process (on Windows, at least), and I only have the versions for Win2k.

Maybe they handled things a bit better in Windows XP.

Oh, please, here comes the genius: it could never happen to me 😁

I can't say for sure, but I certainly feel better believing that my efforts actually serve a meaningful purpose.

Not really, though I suppose intelligence helps.
The reality is just a gut feeling that capitalism is going to wreck us all along with the entire planet, while AIDS isn't even a close second.

Well, if you want to feel even better, why don't you actually be useful and pitch an alternative to SETI...

The underlying reality here is simply the grim realization that our current brand of capitalism is poised to absolutely wreck us all along with the entire planet, whereas AIDS won't even come close to causing that level of systemic devastation.

Honestly, we'll find some way to fight back against capitalism, globalism, and radiation... as long as we can just ensure we have unrestricted access to sex. πŸ™‚

Look, I’m sorry, but I don't have anything intelligent to contribute here since I simply refuse to waste my precious processing power on such trivialities...

So, what exactly is it that you do that's so incredibly important??

Are you out there promoting casual hookups and spreading diseases? πŸ˜›

Anyone part of a group? I’m notβ€”honestly, I’ve barely touched any unknown data, and I’m kind of embarrassed to admit it... 😒)

I run this tiny little groupβ€”just four members, though only two are actually active. I’ll probably recruit a third once I track them down and talk them into joining 😁.

It’s called Xnet if anyone cares; feel free to join πŸ™‚. It doesn't really matter what we do, but it's better than being on your own, isn't it? πŸ™‚

Give me a break. It doesn't even show supercomputer time right. If I'm reading this correctly, it should be counting down how much CPU time was actually spent on SETI, but when I check the processes in Task Manager, the numbers don't match upβ€”it looks lower. 😠

Also, what's this talk about "groups"? πŸ˜•

The rules are different. Besides, it applies to all the units.

And no, you just join the group and then the competition groups. There’s no real point to it other than it being a bit of fun.

Hmm... Sounds interesting. Tell me more about these groups... Who’s actually running the show? Is there a cap on how many members you can have? How does someone even start one, and what's the actual payoff? πŸ˜• πŸ˜• πŸ˜•

The person who starts a group basically acts like they own the place, tossing members out whenever they feel like it.

There’s no actual difference for you; on paper, you belong to some group, but that's really all there is to it.

Quick question:

How do I queue up more than one processing batch? Dealing with this constant waiting for one to finish before starting the next is a massive pain.

You’ve got this whole page full of add-ons; just pick one and get moving.

I can't really give you a specific recommendation since I've never actually used them myself (always on a wired connection).
