I don't know, I feel like Rami's acting was a bit off in this one👎👎👎👎👎
The movie itself felt kind of underwhelming too—just a lot of hype and talk without much substance, and then the ending felt way too rushed, I guess.

Finally got around to watching this flick after dodging it for way too long
I honestly don't get why everyone thinks setting a movie in the early 90s is such a "vibe" lately, like we can't just set a story in the present day because apparently serial killers don't exist anymore?
There’s like a 50/50 chance he actually caught the right guy since there isn't any solid evidence, but man, the dude really lost it when he saw those photos of the victims—especially since the one girl who escaped supposedly recognized nothing but his car? Was that even the same car he used during those kidnappings? He was basically hanging out at the crime scene like he was just there to fix a broken fridge
And that’s the whole point of this movie, isn't it? We weren't even supposed to find out if he was the real deal, but instead, we just end up with two cops pulling all sorts of shady moves, where one kills a survivor and the other beats the hell out of some guy who might not even be guilty
I've definitely seen much better movies starring Denzel, let, and Rami

What a waste of time.

Denzel spends the entire movie chewing on some dental prosthetic just to prove he’s this tough old man who can still chew through anything.

Honestly, the movie isn't even that bad. Aside from the constant chewing, I mean, that's basically been his trademark for like thirty years now.

The ending completely tanked this movie. Look, I respect the philosophical and ethical dilemma they tried to set up, but at the end of the day, I just want to know who the killer is. They could have dropped a hint or two along the way. Instead, we get this whole movie about a serial killer without ever getting a decent clue as to who it might be. Just when I thought we were finally getting an answer, it turns out we aren't. It’s incredibly frustrating. Skip it. And no, I don't think he's the guy those two idiots think he is. He’s just a creep—some weirdo obsessed with old news clippings—but he doesn't match the body language or the look of the person in the intro. This guy walks like he's got one leg shorter than the other and he's bloated and scruffy; the killer was much more agile. The blonde girl "recognizes" him based on nothing but her own suggestion. This film has absolutely nothing to do with Seven. Honestly, it's insulting to even mention them in the same sentence. The whole thing feels like a massive buildup that ends with the partner just turning away and falling asleep. And I don't get why anyone is forcing Rami into this; he feels like a total slap in the face. He doesn't fit the setting, the timing, the context, or the character.
