Spring is finally rolling in, which means paintball season is officially right around the corner.

Just curious, are there any other players hanging out on this forum?

My crew and I have been mapping this out for ages—finally looks like we're actually making it happen this spring 😉

Is he the type to enter big tournaments, or is he more of a casual player?

Yeah, he’s actually out there playing in his company’s tournaments😁. They’re literally trying to figure out how to squeeze in one last paintball match before they tear down the building they work in. Honestly, I think the whole thing is just ridiculous, especially since I was the one who went out and bought him all his gear🙄now I'm stuck dealing with the fallout of this mess😉

And I’m right back at it again, telling anyone who will listen that these "games for little girls" are basically just high-octane testosterone fests wrapped in pink packaging.😉

Man, I grew up right during that fifth annual World Paintball Championship... honestly, I've had my fair share of those kinds of "hobbies" and they just aren't my thing..😠 😢

And look, I really don't see how this even qualifies as an actual sport, but whatever, go ahead and enjoy yourselves... I'm not going to shut down the thread, even if it definitely belongs in the general discussion section rather than under sports.

Whether people like it or not, we’re finally getting an official league this year, so feel free to complain all you want. Last year's national championship was a decent start, but this time around, we're looking at way more teams and much tighter organization. There’s even a chance we might see some funding trickle in from the Democratic Party. 😁

It’s actually pretty pathetic that a moderator on a sports forum seems to have zero interest in emerging sports—I mean, I've seen threads on everything under the sun here, but it feels like you have a weird personal vendetta against paintball specifically. 😢

My honest opinion on that game is pretty simple 👎 ... it just isn't a sport.

See, to me, paintball is just a simulation of combat—basically playing at killing people. It’s a game (a silly one, if you ask me, but hey, that's just how I see it), but it definitely isn't a sport.

On average, you’re looking at spending somewhere around $150 - $67, but honestly, it’s worth it for the fun you'll have.
Equipment rentals run about $17, and if you want a pack of 100 balls, they're roughly $40-$17.

Doesn't really matter. Even if it isn't, it's the only one I actually train for regularly.🙂
