feraltrucker5 said:So, let me get this straight—none of you actually have an issue with team orders as a concept, right? It’s just that you can’t handle seeing it happen live in front of your ultra-sensitive eyes, and frankly, you lack the backbone to deal with it. 🤣

Good grief, I had no idea there were so many fans living in Potemkinov's fake villages. 🙏

It’s all just too transparent. It’s all just one big violation after another. Rules are rules. But I guess when you decide to ignore them, you just start making up whatever convenient little fairy tales suit your narrative. It’s a joke. You end up with a No2 driver acting like a glorified errand boy, dodging every real question thrown his way and playing the part of some offended socialite at a press conference.

To be honest, rule-breaking like this has been going on for a long, long time... you could see it most clearly back during the Schumacher era at Ferrari. But even then, we weren't dealing with these kinds of moronic, theatrical displays like the Alonso-Massa stunt they pulled at today's press conference. 🙄

if they’re gonna act all soft and claim it wasn't their fault, then fine, the team should just go out there and snatch those points back...

So, what does that actually mean? Well, I suppose there is more to come...

It feels a lot like what happened back in 2002, though the fine isn't quite as heavy this time. We'll just have to wait and see how the World motorsport Council decides to rule...

Major props to Paul Stoddard. I honestly don't know how he pulled it off, but his team (Minardi) is the only one that didn't end up facing the World motorsport Council when Alonso was driving for them... 😁

Any team worth their salt would have done exactly the same thing in a situation like that.😉

Why wouldn't they? 😁 If they actually had any brains, they’d exploit this for all it's worth because drama like this is pure gold for publicity. 😁

Let's be real here, rule-breaking like this has been happening for ages... it was most glaringly obvious back during the Schumacher era at Ferrari. Except back then, we didn't have these ridiculous little theatrical performances, like the Alonso-Massa situation, playing out in front of the cameras. 🙄

Not happening? Are you kidding me? What about Schumacher basically dragging a clearly pissed-off Barrichell up to the top step of the podium, when you could tell the guy would've much rather decked him with his helmet? 😂

That was a lifetime ago; Alonso hasn't quite mastered his knack for being a walking jinx yet. 🤣

😁

Pretty much sums it all up...

McLaren was slapped with a $100,000,000 fine for violating Article 151c—and they didn't even have Santander on board as a sponsor at the time.😁

Since they weren't 🤷 , they went after him and handed him the bill 😁

PS Webber was a total disaster during the whole race.

The aero setup absolutely killed him.☕

Barrichello always acted like he’d been cheated, whether he actually was or not—not that it's my business, but I don't recall him making public scenes quite like the two guys we see today.

To be clear, I’m not questioning team orders. What’s questionable is the sheer stupidity of how the Ferrari duo behaved once the race was over. 🙄

The efficiency is just on another level, a completely different way of solving the problem ☕

And you can lower a car without standing right in its path, too.
Just like a Ferrari mechanic would. ☕

Alright, I want an honest answer from everyone who thinks this kind of rule-breaking is fine: do you actually find races more interesting when they play like this, or do you prefer it when teammates act like Webber and Vettel?

cosmicridge5 said:I’d have to agree with 😳. Actually, they’re pushing him way more than they push Ferrari Alonso. You can see it clearly now... if Hemić were trailing Button (just like Nando is behind Massa right now) and still had this many points in the standings, things wouldn't look like this. There's no way they'd let Button have a shot at this 😳

And honestly, the gap between Button and Hemić (in terms of skill, points, and the fact that Button is the reigning world champion!) is much smaller than the massive gap between Nando and Massa when you look at everything else 😳

If only the boss were a man...

In the grand scheme of things, actual industrial espionage is a much heavier charge than this situation, isn't it?
plus, we still haven't heard the official word from the World motorsport Council regarding this matter.😉

Chris Ortiz said:Honestly, I’m feeling the same way. As of today, I'm officially done watching. I only managed to catch the race in Valencia this year, but after that, I am definitely skipping everything else for the rest of the season.

It feels like we're stuck with nothing but a lineup of absolute bores lately; if only they actually had the talent to back up their personalities...

Vettel really should have secured that championship last year, and by this point in the current season, he theoretically ought to be sitting on the world title already. The reality is, he just isn't performing at the level required. I used to be quite a fan of his, but it seems my sympathies were misplaced; today’s results served as a definitive confirmation of that fact.

Massa really only shines when he's sitting behind the wheel of a powerhouse like the one we saw today, but let's be honest—even if he were the only driver on the grid, I don't think he'd ever have the talent to become a champion.

Honestly, Fernando Alonso isn't just a constant whiner; he is undeniably an overrated driver. It’s genuinely embarrassing to watch how he’s been driving this season, but what’s even more pathetic and frankly a complete disaster is his endless, non-stop complaining.

Webber flashes with brilliance for just a fleeting moment, much like what we previously observed regarding Massa's standing.

I have to admit, he’s a fantastic driver, even if he happens to be one of the most unlikable athletes I’ve ever come across. But honestly, looking back, he used to be a total disaster—much like Alonso was in his early days—so I suppose he has finally started to turn things around.

It seems only Gumbek remains as a legitimate contender for the world title. He’s truly an exceptional driver—so polished, incredibly refined, and a sportsman of the highest caliber. Honestly, he’s probably the most gentlemanly individual among all the candidates we've seen. But, if I’m being perfectly candid, there's one thing missing: that certain edge, that raw arrogance and aggression that defines a true champion.

Honestly, once Kubica finally gets behind the wheel of a decent car, maybe then I'll consider actually tuning back into this circus they call a sport.

That bolded part🤣
Care to explain exactly what you mean by that?

Honestly, I have no clue who those jokers even are... And don't get me started on Alonso, what a total crybaby. If he's actually fast, he can just overtake them already...
