Here’s an example of a post that was deleted for absolutely no damn reason from the thread about Obama's visit to Mississippi!

There sits Donald Trump, looking totally stuffed—partly from all that pork and partly from the local beer, obviously! He's got grease around his mouth, shirt unbuttoned, belt singing his favorite song, "To Leave One Day"! Suddenly, he gets this bright idea, grabs our President in a massive bear hug, and shouts: "Damn it, Joe, why aren't you playing something for us?! Look how much we're partying, you could've played us a tune!"

Now listen, Mr. Trump, maybe that's not exactly appropriate! "Look, this is a working lunch," our President replies! But come on, Joe, loosen up! Why so tense? It's not like we're some radical extremists out to get kids! Can't you see we Americans are just here to have a good time? Go on, play something and we'll sing along! Play that one by Oliver, the "My Seagull" one—reminds me of being young and chasing German girls around Makarska!

Our President looks embarrassed, fidgeting in his chair and trying to change the subject. But Trump isn't letting him off that easy! He jumps up, grabs the mic, and announces: "Ladies and gentlemen, now Joe Biden is going to play us a song, let's hear a huge round of applause!" The room erupts, and seeing there's no way out, the President stands up. He leans toward Trump and says: "But there isn't a piano here!" And Trump just goes: "Well, damn it, Joe, we don't have a piano! We're just regular folks, but hey, we've got a keyboard, isn't that close enough?!"

Joe heads over to the keyboard and says: "I apologize in advance if I hit a few wrong notes!" More laughter and applause! Joe starts playing "Seagull," and Trump leads the crowd until the whole room is roaring! Ivey is totally lost in the music, eyes closed, imagining everyone dancing and singing along to the melody! Meanwhile, Trump, feeling himself, glances at his sidekick Nightingale and gives him a little gesture under the table while whispering: "We're really killing it!"

Seriously, nobody was offended! This post wasn't off-topic, and it definitely didn't break any forum rules! But nope, the post got nuked just because some moderator clearly didn't like it! For comparison, look at how our famous cartoonist Nick Titanic described Obama's visit to Mississippi in a very similar way:

So I'm asking for an explanation: why was this post deleted, and why do these kinds of posts keep getting wiped out?!

Maybe that’s because you were supposed to actually embed the image link instead of just dumping it like this.

No way! I added the picture just now, purely to show how much my post looks exactly like this caricature! In the original deleted post, there wasn't even an image—it was just that quoted text above!

Your post is completely off-topic, and honestly, what you wrote is just nasty. It’s going to get wiped every single time; nobody should have to deal with this kind of garbage just because someone's bored.

What on earth are you talking about?! What "filth"? What "disgusting"?! Are you here to act as some sort of writing critic, or are you actually here to call out rule-breakers? Because nobody broke any rules here! How is discussing Obama's visit to Mississippi even considered off-topic? And is this caricature "filth" too? Do you even get the point of this cartoon or what I was saying?!

Can we please get an admin to weigh in here!

Picture Donald Trump sitting there, totally stuffed from all that BBQ and local craft beer! He’s got grease around his mouth, shirt unbuttoned, belt loosened, just belting out his favorite old ballad at the top of his lungs. "

Is this how you actually talk during Sunday dinner after church? If so, show me some proof and I might consider letting your post stay. If not, then you know why these half-baked posts with questionable IQ levels—which just drag down the quality of conversation here—need to be wiped off the boards.

I don't really care about the point of the caricature, btw. Your actual message is loud and clear.

If we're looking at that post as the standard, then there's no way those other posts were deleted without a damn good reason.

If my post is "half-wit," then your explanations are even more idiotic! I fail to see how this forum has anything to do with your "Sunday family dinner after church" nonsense! If you want to turn this forum into a "Catholic Mass"—or rather, a communion service for a deity whose name we aren't even supposed to mention—then you're definitely on the right track!

What you're doing isn't moderation; it's straight-up censorship! In fact, it's just stupidly censoring a description of a guy that is absolutely accurate! There's plenty of evidence showing that Donald Trump acts and looks exactly how I described him, especially during dinners and celebrations! And it's also true that his favorite song is "to leave one day"!

The guy is pure "raw material," and I used the word "stuffed" specifically because of that! At the end of the day, the caricature is proof to me that there are people out there who think exactly like I do! ☕

I feel like I owe an explanation to those people acting like they're some kind of high-society intellectuals on an internet forum—give me a break! The word "hammered" comes from common street slang, and it just means you're drunk! It’s used totally normally without being negative; you hear people say, "Man, we got hammered last night!" all the time. It’s basically derived from the idea of "feeding" something (like baiting a fish before you go out!). Honestly, if Sam from our little clinic said that word, I bet half the people here pretending to be "cultured" would be rolling on the floor laughing!

Look, if you want to turn this forum into some holy sanctuary more pristine than PBS, maybe try actually writing some new rules where you clearly state which words aren't "appropriate" for you! What specific vocabulary are we supposed to use to prevent the "decline of communication standards"? For God's sake, we're talking about communication levels in the context of Donald Trump, a guy whose go-to phrases are basically "shut up," "get lost," and "screw you"! And what's truly pathetic is that we're discussing this on an American forum where a primitive character like him is clearly being protected!

Look, nobody is out to get him, but if we’re actually going to engage in a serious discussion here, then the posts should probably reflect that level of substance
. These kinds of rants might fly on some niche political subreddit, but putting them on the main page is just cluttering up the feed with useless noise
