Over the course of the last few days, I’ve been contending with this rather unsettling stinging sensation right under my right armpit, accompanied by a dull, nagging ache that seems to radiate down my arm and across the right side of my back—almost as if I’ve somehow overextended a muscle during some strenuous activity. I haven't felt any lumps or noticed anything out of the ordinary upon inspection; there is simply this persistent discomfort lingering there. Has anyone else here navigated a similar situation?

It actually happened. No clue how, either. Just went down out of nowhere.🤷

Maybe you did, or maybe you just pinched a nerve somewhere, because I know how it goes when I'm driving and I suddenly stretch the wrong way and everything just flares up...

Apply an alcohol compress and go see a surgeon...

Things are feeling significantly better today, if I do say so myself; I’ve been applying pressure, though it isn't the actual pressure that causes discomfort—it is more of a persistent stinging sensation on the skin itself. I suspect it might be a reaction to shaving or perhaps the application of spray deodorant, as I recall reading somewhere that those products can clog your pores and trigger these kinds of inflammatory issues... Has anyone else here dealt with something similar? I find myself wondering if a consultation with a surgeon is absolutely necessary, and truth be told, the thought of it makes me a bit anxious. 😕

Here’s my take on the situation 😢
My skin isn't burning—no swelling, no lumps or anything weird like that—but there’s definitely pain. Or maybe "discomfort" is a better word for it. It doesn't really bother me when my arm is resting against my side, but the second I try to fully extend it 😕, it hits me. Should I go see a doctor? Or maybe just slap some ointment on it and hope for the best?
