Ryan Vaughn7 said:"We"? Who is "we"? Is there a group I missed?

Yeah, exactly. On the political subreddits.

And how is it that you haven't been banned for shooting someone in the head?

Ryan Vaughn7 said:Look, Ed, let’s not play games here. You’re really the last person who should be talking about political targeting against fans. We both know the truth. We both know exactly what was actually going on behind the scenes with that whole Warsaw situation. Let's stay honest, shall we?

What do you mean, "we both know"?
Did I ask for a permanent ban just because "we both know" something? No.
So much for intellectual honesty...
Look, just ban me permanently if there's such a damn problem. It's not like this forum can't survive without me, or I can't live without it...
Just like we both know exactly what was actually going on with that Warsaw situation. Don't be unfair.

I'm being perfectly fair. The whole point of the Warsaw thread was calling out the hypocrisy in this country. That was the topic. You left the thread open, but you banned the guy who started it. So much for "fairness"...

A moderator's job is to guide the discussion, not twist it to fit their own views while ignoring the original post.
Honestly, after the first couple of posts, it’s like you guys completely forgot what the thread was even about...

So, looking at the numbers... they're trash? Nice. ☕

Believe it or not, we aren't some single, unified block where everyone agrees on everything instantly. We argue, we talk things out, we throw arguments back and forth... sometimes we're actually being civil about it, and other times, well, we're not.

So when it comes to the numbers, they're garbage then? Nice.☕

I didn't say that.

And obviously, I never said this whole forum was just about the fans, but you already know that—you're just trolling a little bit.

Sure, you just cherry-picked exactly what you wanted from my post and ignored everything else—especially the part where I was actually talking about how the admins handle this subforum.

Honestly, those numbers don't really reflect what's actually happening on the ground. They’re more like rough guesses at best, and honestly, they're super easy to mess up if you aren't careful. You can't just take them at face value. What actually matters is what the pros are saying, and the experts are pointing out that the fan base is sitting pretty low on the forum attendance rankings.

Look, you’re gonna have to go ask him yourself. Seriously. But yeah, we aren't planning on shutting things down right now. soccer.

so:
No, we don't have any plans to shut down Soccer right now.

And now they expect me to sit down for a serious talk?...

Is that why you know it gets shut down? Because you guys are out here debating and making arguments...

Look, since you guys either can't or just don't want to get what I'm actually saying—and honestly, I’m not about to sit here and spell it out for you like a textbook—I think this whole conversation is just becoming a waste of time.

It’s not like I didn't have the will to make it happen.

just lock the thread already🙄

You asked where the idea to lock the "soccer" thread came from, we gave you an answer, then you hit back with "ask Sašov," and now you're admitting you don't even have any intention of locking the soccer thread...

Like I didn't get that?

Then on the Warsaw thread, people are getting banned just because they dared to compare that situation to the stadium...

It's insane that people are getting banned for that on a forum. Is it against the rules on this site to compare two different events?

Just put it in the rules so there's no confusion...

Here's how it works:
Oh, really?

Which guys were actually standing there with their hands up while getting clubbed by the cops? Weren't they just sitting there, so people were like, "Why aren't you moving?"

Or that stampede at the roundabout—they were actively sprinting back and forth and slamming right into the officers.

The only difference here is that this whole property destruction and law-breaking mess was organized by some guy who clearly read an anarchist manual. Now he’s telling his followers to just sit tight and not resist the police, even though they were busy tearing into the security guards before the cops even showed up. It's like that stuff you see happening in the East when they try to put out a flare. The cops just decided to swing their batons a little too hard, and then everything went completely to hell.

And they might have gotten away with just sitting there if they hadn't dealt with the exact same situation three months ago, where the court ruled the police illegally moved 4 or 5 protesters.

Trash thread, 100 points down. Reason: Not about Maksimir.🙏

So if I go over to the thread about American politics regarding the border and write about how China and Russia are basically settling the dispute for them, am I gonna get banned?

For what? Isn't that on topic for Maksimir or what?

Man, what a waste of time. Keep on banning, keep on locking threads, do whatever you want...

Since you all seem to have mastered the art of quoting me, I’m assuming you can actually manage to read what’s inside those quotes too.
It shouldn't be this much of a mental marathon for anyone with even a basic education to grasp the point I was making—that little "one-two punch" aimed right at the center—nor should it be difficult to understand the part where I said, "I hope that..."

And let's not even get started on the ridiculous notion that people should be allowed to stir up trouble in politics or engage in all this endless whining now that things have finally been kept under control.
Do you honestly think you need a formal apology because your little schemes didn't pan out the way you planned?
Or do you genuinely believe that everything should just slide by simply because you show up in a pack, thinking your numbers somehow give you a license to act however you please?

I feel sorry for this group, really, but this kind of behavior isn't going to fly, not from you and not from anyone else, regardless of who is running the site or who the moderators happen to be.
The constant exaggeration of minor issues and this non-stop cycle of bickering amongst yourselves has become, quite frankly, exhausting and completely unnecessary.

What kind of 'idea is it to cause chaos in politics'?
If staying on topic counts as making a mess, then sure, you're right.

Let's not drag this out. One quick question, hoping for an honest, straight answer:
valsimot53 said:A hundred "protesters" making noise, breaking the peace and trashing property. Should we join them or support the legal state's sharpest intervention (aka the police)?

After reading the opening post, what do you think the author actually intended here? A place to debate urban planning? Or something else entirely?

A permanent ban? What are you even talking about? Man, you’ve been hanging out in the politics section for years. You jump into all sorts of topics. Have you ever actually felt targeted or picked on just because you're a fan? Any resentment? Any issues at all because of that? Come on, don't be ridiculous.

As for the Warsaw situation, the thread was fine until a few "geniuses" showed up. They probably thought they were being witty or sarcastic, so they started copy-pasting posts from an old thread, just swapping out a few words. You call that exposing societal hypocrisy? My friend, that’s just basic trolling. I was actually the one who deleted those posts and warned them that I wouldn't tolerate that kind of thing, explaining exactly why. I wasn't listened to, so the first warnings went out. And those were my calls, not Sašov's. After that, it just turned into pure spite—people cloning threads and collectively deciding to screw over both the moderation and the discussion itself. What exactly did you think was going to happen after that?

If we’re actually going to address that question properly, I suppose we first need to establish the context in which everything is unfolding, don't we?
It is an entirely different matter altogether to consider what this group actually intended to pull off, fueled by their own inflated sense of self-importance—unless, of course, you’re going to try and convince me that this was some spontaneous movement where everyone just happened to share the exact same thought at the exact same time?

Honestly, this is elementary school level logic, and frankly, it’s becoming a bit embarrassing having to sit here and explain the obvious to you over and over again.

It’s called irony... look it up...
The person getting mocked is usually the one who doesn't get what irony actually is....

I gave you a straight answer. If you can't handle it, fine.
Stop spinning the story and shifting the focus to the fans. I didn't ask about them.

So, do you think the OP intended this thread to be a debate about a garage, or was it meant as a comparison to that recent situation?
I don't see why it's hard to just say what you think. Or do you not even bother thinking about trivial things, like what this thread I'm moderating is actually about?

Action, reaction... who started it first... blah blah blah... we already read 150 pages of that nonsense during the riots at the stadium. There was absolutely no need to read it all over again in Warsaw. To make a long story short, I was the one who initiated this, and it ended exactly how it should have. It’s just part of my job as a moderator, as Taylor Gonzalez79 so eloquently put it. This thread is finally in a good place now.

So, did you actually start this thread?
Could you have just opened your own instead?
Is hijacking someone else's discussion to steer it toward your own agenda really "part of the job"?
We'll find out the answers to those questions in the upcoming chapters....
Or is there going to be more "action" coming?

I decided to jump straight into the action and reaction. It saves us all from hunting for culprits and skips about 150 pages of filler. No one really moderates their own threads. That's my job, strictly following the forum rules.

Look, we aren't even talking about moderation... but maybe you're too young to actually grasp what's being said here?
We're talking about steering the conversation in the right direction...
I’m going to ask once more for an answer to what I already posed:
Could you not have just started your own thread instead of hijacking this one, which clearly established its own direction from the very first post?
Or is your "job" just stirring the pot and causing drama?... because managing and locking threads to oversee a conversation is a completely different thing. (Keep in mind, they aren't the same.)
....Is it really that hard to give me a straight answer?
