I'm looking to change my username, but there's a catch: it needs to stay recognizable. Ironically, that's exactly why I want to change it:

1. A lot of people I know could easily spot me here—turns out there are quite a few acquaintances on this forum, and even some family members! I really need to maintain my anonymity.

2. My current handle gives away my real name, which falls right under my goal of staying anonymous.

P.S. I know I was warned about this, but I honestly had no idea so many people I know were actually active on here. :/

There isn't much we can do for you here. If you're determined, you could try sending a PM to one of the admins to make a formal request. Just don't expect a miracle; you certainly won't be the first person to ask. From what I understand, those requests almost always get denied.

I’d really like to change my handle to feralpilot6. Honestly, pretty much everyone here calls me that anyway, and since I have zero connection to that other Lily person, there shouldn't be any confusion. It would basically just be a localized, shorthand version of my name. 🤷
I’ve gone through the rules, and while it isn't a huge deal over one or two letters, this would just be a simplified, more natural translation. Plus, about 90% of the people on this board already address me as "Vodenna." You can check the daily logs; I’m active there all the time.

Look, I know I'm probably breaking the rules by asking for a name change like this, but here's the deal—my husband registered with this ridiculous handle, and then I just kind of... took over his account. Some of you might know me, some probably don't... but basically, I'm Eric Reed62 from the infidelity corner of the forum. So, I wanted to ask—since I know my username needs to stay recognizable—would it be possible to just drop the "lazy" part before my name? Maybe just leave it as "l...andrea"? Or, if that’s not an option, maybe I could just add a 'v' at the beginning so it becomes "vlazljivaandrea"?

The first one isn't going to work. Periods aren't allowed when you're changing a username. But the second idea is totally doable! You can just reach out to Tyndall about it. Honestly, though, you might want to think about adding a space. Spaces are perfectly fine for usernames here!
