I actually really love my username. It carries some emotional weight for me; I didn't just pick it at random. I wouldn't want to change it, but it looks like I have to. A different user, Bradley Patel2, suddenly appeared on the forum, and worst of all, we both frequently post in the religion subforum. You can imagine how awkward that gets. I wouldn't be surprised if other members constantly mistake us for one another. Because of that, I’d like to kindly ask if you could change my nickname to Canadian Girl1983. I thought about suggesting others—something much more modern or catchy, like Rock 'n' Roll Cat or Queen Sword—but those don't seem to fit the rules. Regardless, I would want to properly notify the other members about the change, especially if they don't realize it's me right away. So, if it isn't too much trouble, please let me know what steps to take and exactly who I should contact. Thanks in advance!

Why not just pick an actual avatar? Once you’ve got a name, the avatar is really the heart of your whole online persona. Personally, I think using a nickname that includes your birth year is just a terrible choice.

Can I change my username to something completely different? This one was just for selling some menus, and I don't want to be called this anymore. 🙂

So, you might as well just go ahead and register a new handle, I mean, you don't really have a ton of posts anyway, and besides, it’s not like you’re even planning on sticking around to deal with sales anymore, right? 🙂
