Anyway, I’ve got a bit of an off-topic question—I noticed under my signature right now, there's this "Idea" link pointing to some Nivogradnja company.

When I click the word "Idea," it redirects me somewhere else.
Is this some kind of virus on my end, or is it something else entirely?

I wasn't really sure where to ask about this—I haven't been nearly as active on here lately as I used to be, so... yeah.

I tried messing with my signature last night to delete it, and when I change it, the link disappears.
So, is this because my computer is infected, or is it happening because the accounts were just merged?

It doesn't bother me personally, I'm just worried it might be malware—especially since my email threw an error last night saying I couldn't access it through my BlueMail certificate or whatever.

I barely managed to get into my inbox using Outlook and some new certificate thing.

Sorry again for being a pain, and thanks a ton.

It’s even happening in the post itself—the word "active" is hyperlinked and sends you straight to YouTube.

The thing is, you can't post using multiple accounts within the same discussion threads. If your goal is to completely walk away from this current profile—meaning you don't plan on using it anywhere else ever again—you could try reaching out to the moderators on the specific forums where you've been active. Maybe they'll give you the green light to transition over to a new account.

Don't worry, those are just ads that we don't have any control over. If you want to merge your accounts, just shoot me a private message! Let me know which email address you'd like to keep as your primary one and include the link to your other profile.

I'm still a little lost on the whole link situation—I’m a total dinosaur when it comes to this tech stuff. But the email part makes sense.

I honestly just thought the email could be deleted; they don't even necessarily need to merge the profiles.
Not trying to be a pain or give you extra work here.
It's fine—doesn't have to be merged, doesn't have to delete the email.

I just didn't want to end up with two different profiles—one set up for the American language which I don't really use, and another in English, which is my thing.

Seriously, I had no idea you could actually change a username.
Personally, I wouldn't touch this Visionary S handle at all.

I've got a ton of posts dating all the way back to 2008. Honestly, how many mods would I even have to hunt down? I don't even know where to start since the search tool is totally broken.

Well, if you decide to go through with it, you could always just reach out to the moderators directly to be safe, or maybe try using a Google search instead.

Look, you really need to decide what you actually want before reaching out, otherwise I'm just going to be changing your nickname only for you to ditch it in a couple of days.

Honestly, trying to track down every single thread I’ve posted in, hunting down all those mods, and getting everyone to sign off sounds like a total nightmare. It definitely wouldn't be a quick fix, so I'm pretty skeptical about even trying.
But hey, I can reach out to a few of them and get back to you in a bit. (I'd really appreciate it if we could just swap to one of these two instead)
