The most anticipated race of the season is coming up. A real old-school layout. I can hardly wait for the race, and I'll definitely be keeping a close eye on all the practice sessions.

I feel absolutely terrible for George Russell. That was a total disaster, and honestly, the pit crew's behavior at Mercedes was inexplicable. You rarely see mistakes of that magnitude from them, unless they were asking the Ferrari pit wall for advice.
That overtake past Valtteri Bottas was nothing short of a statement. Russell possesses incredible potential; he dominated both GP3 and Formula 2, only getting bogged down while stuck in that Williams Racing tractor. To showcase that level of skill over just a few days is phenomenal. Mercedes is absolutely right to scout him as the future successor to Lewis Hamilton.

I’m genuinely happy for Sergio Perez. In my opinion, the guy has been a disappointment, and just like last time, Charles Leclerc nearly torpedoed him right out of the race. He deserves Alexander Albon's seat at Red Bull Racing next season.

You've gotta assume Renault might actually show some life on this track, which would be just great if they want to make the fight for third place a total mess, dragging everything out until we hit Abu Dhabi. Though, let's be real, Racing Point probably earned that third spot.

I guess Charles Leclerc might be dealing with some significant mental struggles lately, because when you ruin a race for yourself, you inevitably end up messing things up for everyone else too, and it feels like this isn't even the first time we've seen this happen.

Perez is absolutely clinical🙏🙏🙏. Going from the back of the pack to third—pushing for first at one point—is basically his career highlight. Alexander Albon tried a similar strategy early on and ended up stuck in sixth—with mistakes like these, he should've been fighting for a podium. I guess it’s finally obvious to Helmut Marko that they need to bring Perez into the fold.☕

To suggest that McLaren will just tear them apart is a bit much. This track has been run before, and anyone watching can see how well McLaren handles circuits with plenty of straights.

Mercedes messed up because they went for a double stack and struggled to find their rhythm with a new driver on the roster. They made similar blunders back at the German Grand Prix in 2018, and we saw it pop up a few times this year too, especially during the races in Italy and Russia.
It's obvious that if George Russell were in this car, he’d probably take the win along with most of the rest of the grid. But you have to actually develop a car to this level through years of grueling work—it's always a mix of driver talent and team execution—and once you've done that, reaping the rewards becomes much easier.
